Rock band Kings of Leon were forced to pull the plug half way through a concert after their bass player was pooped on by pigeons. Jared Followill had been hit several times already when a particularly large splat landed on his face near his mouth. That proved too much for the rockers, who fled the stage in St Louis, Missouri just three songs into their set.

I was standing in formation at attention at OCS when me and the guy next to me got hit by massive seagull crap. It was dripping off of my cover, the guy next to me had it on his face. Couldn’t move either. We both failed inspection....

Pigeon poop can be very nasty stuff.
It is not always like normal bird droppings,
and often more like diarrhea.

I got bombed by a goose one day, and later I mentioned it to an Italian friend. He said it was good luck to have a bird **** on your head. I didn’t quite see it that way.

The band had already been warned about the pigeon situation but were determined that the show must go on, even after opening bands The Postelles and The Stills were covered in pigeon excrement as they came off stage.LOL!! That's dedication!

They're still backstage complaining that they got Evian water when their contract clearly calls for Perrier. Seriously, who'd stay on stage getting coated with pigeon crap? Calling pigeons "rats with wings" is an insult to rats, which at least don't take to the air to spray the world with fecal matter.
