Move over scandal, Oksana Grigorieva could be doing the salsa to Dancing With The Stars.
The woman at the centre of the explosive Mel Gibson domestic abuse scandal is in secret negotiations to appear in the next season of the hit ABC television show, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
But according to a source close to the negotiations, the potential deal is now in jeopardy because the person who masterminded the talks, Howard Bragman, quit Team Oksana after just 48 hours as her publicist.
Oksana, 40, has told law-enforcement investigators Mel, 54, exploded in rage January 6 and punched her more than once as she held their infant daughter, Lucia.
“Oksana has left on the table a potential appearance on Dancing With The Stars,” said a source, familiar with the negotiations.
“It would have given her a lot of money, not violated the gag order and promoted her as a talented musician, all while softening her public image in front of more than 40 million viewers each week.”
Bragman refused to comment about his “former client”, but his top Hollywood agency, Fifteen Minutes, in known to have represented some of the most successful DWTS contestants in the past, including Apolo Ohno, Mario Lopez, Laila Ali, Cloris Leachman and Marlee Matlin.
However, a source close to Oksana said the Russian musician was never set on the idea given the ongoing legal battle with the Lethal Weapon star.
“It was lined up for her, with good pay,” said one source, who is close to the situation. “It was big bucks compared to nothing.”
As RadarOnline.com revealed, Oksana and her family-of-two are cash-strapped after her split from the Oscar-winning actor/director.
She only received a $10,000 check for support from Mel a few weeks ago, after complaining that Bragman, a top Hollywood crisis manager, became Oksana’s second publicist to quit in a week, after a former advisor to President Bill Clinton, Steve Jaffe, quit the post on Wednesday.

What was Mel thinking? She’s not that attractive, and apparently has some, ahem, history.
She’s not his wife, and to a straying spouse, that seems to sometimes be the main aphrodisiac.
I'm guessing he wasn't thinking, at least not with the part of the anatomy that should be doing the thinking. And I agree, she's no prize.
It will be curious to see if this is an accurate story, or just media hype. I find it hard to believe that ABC would entertain the idea of putting a possible felon on their hit reality show before this thing sorts itself out.
I'm way past giving any of the MSM outlets that much credit. I think a felony rap would actually improve her agent's bargaining position.
this woman has some racket..she lures these famous men into her web, has children with them and then is set for the rest of her life. She must be some temptress!. Everything Mel is doing is a crime of passion. He has great passion for her...remember, love and hate is a fine line.
Her bio reads well when it comes to her musical background but her love life is a rocky road.

I do think many of his movies reflected Christian values, however, he is not an example for us to follow.
Not me. I simply think she's a swindler. She keeps embroidering the story. He got caught by a hunter. Read somewhere that the reason Robyn filed for divorce was because the Russian tart called her and said she was pregnant. He's no prize and was easy pickins for a gold digger.

Perhaps, she’s certainly an adulteress, and I don’t look up to her.
However she did not force him at gunpoint, nor does anyone make anybody say the things he was screaming. Repeatedly. Nobody has that sort of control over anyone else.

What's even funnier is the clowns that chime in with 'I'd hit it'. About the only way they would 'hit it' is if it was forcible rape.
