San Antonio police Saturday night arrested a 38 year old teacher in the Northside ISD and charged her with engaging in sexual activity with a 12 year old boy.
An arrest warrant obtained by 1200 WOAI news claims that Lucinda Caldwell, 38, is a fifth grade teacher at Cable Elementary School on Pinn Road.
The affidavit claims Caldwell picked up the boy at his far west side home Friday night and drove to a hotel, where the sexual contact allegedly took place.
But when she tried to return the youngster to his home early Saturday, his dad was waiting, so she drove off and drove into Medina County, where police there arrested her and rescued the boy.
It is not known whether the boy is a student of Caldwell's, or whether he attends Cable Elementary School. Caldwell is charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child. A spokesman at the Bexar County Jail said he didn't have information on whether bond had been set.
Officials didn't say how the contact between the boy and the teacher was made, because school is not in session, or whether the two had some sort of ongoing relationship.

This is not true. Children aren’t curious about sexuality unless they have been exposed to it. Freud was a quack along the lines of Kinsey. Children who have been raised outside of this sex saturated culture have a chance to be innocent children until they actually mature sexually.

I have never used guilt to teach my children morality. I have taught them truth in love. I have taught them that God wants them to save EVERY part of themselves for marriage even their heart.

From what I have read from your posts, you seem to believe the liberal lie that children are sexual beings and that they will experiment. If I am mistaken I apologize but that is the impression your posts leave.
I seem to remember both Jewish and Roman considered a person responsible for their own acts upon reaching 13.
I'm not sure if the 38 year old seducing a 12 year old is adultery punishable by stoning or rape punishishable by stoning under the old laws.
When I was in school ,one of my 8th grade classmates announced that he was going to be a daddy,and was met with disbelief and disinterest,but not congratulated or celebrated by us.Never did know if he was lying.Now he would be a big man in many schools.
Now our society treats people as children until 18 to 23 depending on enrollment in college or government programs..And the sexuality of the young is widely used in advertising yet ignored by parents too busy/lazy/indifferent to do their jobs.
No wonder kids are confused.
And no one has yet answered as to how this woman was allowed to pick up the boy from his home,were either of his parents home or aware?
We are not talking about marriage here. We’re talking about illicit sex between a child and an alleged adult.
This is wrong and the fact that there are people on this thread defending, excusing, justifying or in any other way downplaying the seriousness of it is a tremendous indicator of what is wrong with this country.
Attitudes like yours and others on this thread are why stuff like this happens in the first place. It contributes to the degradation and deterioration of society in a way that is going to destroy it faster than any liberal politics we see being put in place.
Destroying the moral fabric of society is a recipe for disaster. The fact that there are those mocking this, making jokes about it, and treating it lightly is an abomination and a total embarrassment to FR. Those kinds of attitudes and comments are more fitting for DU or KOS than FR.

Exactly. This boy has been ruined for life. He's going to go through life thinking that this is how adults behave and that it's acceptable. Worse, is that he's not going to be expecting to get the same from girls of his own age and pressuring them into relationships that they ought not to be in. I don’t have time to reply to everything you’ve said, hopefully later. But here are a few comments;
1. You assume for some strange reason that I think schools or the goverment should “own” children and/or teach them about sex.
You could not be more wrong.
2. You claim you did not say that there should be no legal penalty for those having sex with 12 year olds. I read that you did say that. I am not making that up.
3. Your pretense of rationality and reason is just that - a pretense. You use a smokescreen of rationality to promote as well as hide your world view, which appears to be that adults having sex with 12 year olds is hunky dory. If that is not your POV, you are doing a darn good job of obfuscation.
4. Children are not “polymorphously perverse”. They do indeed have individual intrinsic natures but they are heavily influenced and changed by what they are exposed to.

I have an 11 year old daughter that is already “grown” if you know what I mean. She has never had a “boyfriend”, held hands with or kissed a boy (other than her brother).
We are very careful what kind of entertainment influences our children. She does not listen to pop music, watch tween movies/tv with dating and kissing or read “romance” novels. In fact she was reading a (christian) historical fiction novel and a girl kissed a boy. She told me she didn’t want to finish it because it wasn’t a good book (morally).
We have raised her for courtship. She has decided to save her heart for her husband. Her dream is that her first kiss will be on her wedding day after she says “I do”. She is very mature and not silly/giddy around boys. She feels very sorry for the teen girls in our youth group when she sees them draw attention to themselves and give their hearts away to any boy that pays them some attention.
The truth is that you can raise young men and women that value purity. I don’t mean the “I am technically still a virgin” brand if “purity”. In this culture it takes work but it can be done.
Verify with the students and find out where and who they got them from.
Chances are if you go to the superintendent, he may not know what’s going on and deny it.
If you can name names of those providing them, you can talk to them and the superintendent.
And let other parents know. I’m sure they’ll just be thrilled about the idea. Well, some actually may be. Pick your parents well.
I have one daughter who matured early and one who matured late.
But both have level heads about boys and morality.

The name is in the URL. Yes, GS. I think it’s refreshing to be reminded once in a while about trolls who have been removed. It gives hope that other trolls may eventually be eliminated. And it reassures that FR is not a safe haven for pedophiles.
I don’t know why pedophiles aren’t immediately zotted, but it’s reassuring to know that eventually they will be.
