They are a well known scam.
My great aunt got hit by them a few years ago, had to use CC company fraud protection to get the charges removed.

Why is there a teleprompter in front of Bammie’s penis?

I’m sure there must be a reason.

But I’m not sure I really want to know.

“my initial bill says “Proflowers.com” . immediately after that these $14.95 charges started.”

OK. I’ve just had an experience with a company that pretended to be Papa John’s Pizza and ended up charging me for $10 cell phone text messages, something I didn’t even know was possible.

So, it is important to follow the chain through and make sure that it really is proflowers.com that scammed you and not some imposter. The imposters use the names of the real companies to lure you in.

Have you checked this out?
(This was my only point, FRiend. I’d hate to see you get sued or something...)

You bet!...The same damn thing happened to me! I had over 240.00 dollars in charges of 14 dollars a month being deducted. I raised hell with them! They returned the full amount. It happens when you click on this extra window that is a free offer or something....I was not checking the balance every month on that card and obviously they hope you won’t either!

Same thing happened to us. We contacted our credit union and they reimbursed all the charges for months back.

Nowhere do I see proflowers.com and www.floristexpress.net together on the same page. You may be right about all this but I don’t see the evidence in this thread yet. YMMV.

Barnes & Noble did the same thing to me a year ago. I purchase some books, then after the purchase with my credit card the sales lady asks me if I want one of their discount cards?. She hands me a form and tells me to sign it and put in my email address and home address-nothing more. A freebie you'd think. Little do I know, after the fact, they key the # of the form into the register and capture my CC# and particulars to it. So a year later they are charging me $49 for some membership. SCAM!

Whats worse is they send me a postcard 1 month ago telling me they couldnt charge my card because my cc# has changed and I need to go to their website with my email address and update the info....I have never signed up online BTW. So anyhow I figrue if they dont have my current CC# because it has been changed, I'm okay. Wrong! 1 month later the Credit card company charges me! So I complain and tell them the story.....and why is this on here when B&N doesnt have my current CC#. The Credit card company reversed the charges with no explanation nor telling me that was the resolution. The CEO/President of B&N made out with this policy to boost lagging revenue and probably met all his goals and cashed out and retired. They are all in cahoots to scam ya' I tell ya'.;-)
Moral of the story: Even the major retailers are out to scam you. Be very very careful!

I ordered some recently and I recall them offering a shopper’s rewards program at check out. I declined it and didn’t see anything after about it. Sounds like a mistake.

On the other hand, the flowers I ordered for my wife were the best we’ve ever received. The quality was so good, the stems have started to root in the vase after a few days and I hope to have some to plant in a few weeks (I’ve encouraged it by adding some rooting powder to the water after I noticed the rooting.)

“click on the link there”

I’ll take you word for it. I’m certainly not trying to fight with you. I just felt I should at least point out that the evidence you provided doesn’t seem to support the claim in the thread title. Verifiable facts are required so you don’t get libel or cease-and-desist letters from cranky lawyers. Plus, I had a good experience with them so I thought that might be relevant, too. :0)

talked to some guys in India with fake English names.I’ll post back to you if/when the refund shows up.
