New York's 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals reversed a decision of a lower court by claiming Congress can withhold funding to Acorn (The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now). ACORN may consider a second appeal. "We cannot let Congress be pushed around by the right-wing media machine into becoming prosecutor, judge, jury and executioner of politically unpopular people or organizations," said Bill Quigley, legal director for The Center for Constitutional Rights arguing for ACORN.
No Bill, the Federal Government should not fund a criminal organization, not a left one or a right one.

Another poll came out placing them as one of the top party schools in the nation (no surprise there) while we are listed as one of the top academic schools. HA! This has been known for some time in this area of the country.

HA! It is as insulting to imagine that 27 hours of deigning to be on the gulf would make up for the months of neglect, thereby exacerbating the oil leak. What do you want to bet that the family doesn’t leave the hotel except for maybe an hour. And of course, he isn’t going to Alabama or Mississipi {sic!] (I wrote it that way in honor of the other institution). We’re being punished for our daring to stand up for states’ rights in the 19th century.

Lakin’s lawyers will be successful in their request for the muslim’s sealed records, school records, birth certificate, medical records, etc. Which makes me wonder, how can secret military records be leaked, but no one has found a way to leak the muslim’s records.
