OMAHA Federal officials say a JBS Swift & Co. meatpacking plant should give Muslim employees prayer time and not retaliate against workers who ask to pray.
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed a lawsuit Monday on behalf of more than 80 Somali Muslims.
A message left at JBS Swift's U.S. headquarters in Greeley wasn't immediately returned.
Hundreds of Muslim workers walked off the job at the Grand Island, Neb., plant during Ramadan in 2008, saying they needed time to pray at sunset and break a day-long fast. Management adjusted the work schedule the next day.
Non-Muslims protested and the accommodations ended. The company fired 86 Muslims for walking off the job and said the firings weren't about religion.

Were these people informed of the hours of work and appropriate breaks before they were hired? If they then accepted the job offer, they also then accepted the hours. Anything later is only at the employer’s acceptance.
If one of them came to work for me under the above circumstances, and later told me I had to alter my schedule to suit them, I’d show them where the door is. I pay their salary. They work when I say they work.
Making protest signs in English? I hope not - illegal Mexicans are better at it.
Here our Muslim President has once again used his Administration to favor Islam over any other religion. Pray in school - no way; pray at work: only Muslims can demand protection from the Muslim Administration of BO Plenty.

Muslims should not be allowed in any position of trust. Fundamentally, they don’t have any inhibitions against hurting non-muslims since it is not a sin.
