"Teachers' expectations may reinforce gender gap in school performance"
When did “cleverer” become a word.
Girls are clever, right up until the nanosecond that they see a big fat hairy spider with legs so big that you can see the joints articulating.
>>Girls think they are cleverer, more successful and harder working than boys from as young as four, a study has found. <<
And in marriage they cement that concept in a contract ;) :)
Considering that both boys and girls are indoctrinated to believe such, from about age 2 (later, if the parent’s stave off all media until grade school), this is unsurprising.
For starters, look at the comedies in today’s world, a la: The Simpsons, King of Queens, Married with Children, Still Standing, Yes Dear, and who knows what else (I haven’t had TV in years). Our society, along with the feminist push, has taught our children that men are self centered, egotistical, effeminate morons, and that single, unmarried women (lesbians, or with illegitimate children in tow), are confident, bold, stunning and powerful.
Basically the opposite of everything that God has taught. As He himself said, “For neither is the man without the woman, nor the woman without the man, in the Lord.” Government (read: “Communists”) have been working at the subversion of the family and morality for decades, are their founder has been since before the culminating war in heaven. This isn’t new, nor is it surprising, and should have been called out years ago.
So, boys and girls are different? How can this be? They are exactly the same. It is the bigoted, stereotypical roles society imposes on girls to oppress them; to keep them away for any real power; that is the only difference! /s
Personally, at that age, I was more interested in fishing than stupid Dick, Jane or Spot.
At our son's eighth grade graduation, nine students were "randomly" chosen to address the parents and graduates.
All nine were girls. Not even one token boy.
Education has been taken over by lesbians.
Moreover, boys have a LOT more energy, on average, than young girls. Being confined to a limited space, being forced to sit for hours on end, is not their natural inclination.
My girlfriend's son was considered a behavior problem because he was aggressive, easily bored, and impatient. The school wanted to label him as learning disabled. When they tested him, his IQ was off the charts. The boredom and impatience came from the fact that he was already leaps and bounds ahead of the rest of the class and didn't want to waste his time with busy work.
Further, boys can trend towards divergent thinkers (some of the greatest minds in the word are divergent). But since less than 5% of all learners are truly divergent, and the typical classroom environment caters to convergent learners, we are squashing the vast intellect of these young minds with sheer BOREDOM.
Girls are more receptive to social cues because they HAD to be for survival. Historically, they relied on the male of the species to do battle; and then relied on interaction with their mate to ensure their survival through him. They were also the primary care givers of children. Of course they had to recognize the subtle changes in non-verbal interaction!
Don't get me started on the hostile environment against our boys in schools, or the desire to medicate away normal behaviors!
Water boarding is a faster way to brainwash a guy but I have a feeling nagging, bragging and blackmail is more fun for the girl. ;^)
Just when I think the Brits may have lost their fine sense of the ridiculous they bring out a “study” like this!! I do admire their timing, I do.
Boys come round to this view by the age of seven or eight and assume that girls will outperform them at school and behave better in lessons, research from the University of Kent shows.
Mom sent me off to government run school and says I stopped being a happy little boy by grade 2. This is 100% right.
My Grade 2 teacher, Ms. Creamer, took delight in punishing and humiliating all the boys, where the girls in the class could do no wrong, were always called on and always showered with praise. It got so bad that one time in class I took a pencil and paper and wrote "Fuck You Ms. Creamer" on it about 12 times, then tore it up into little pieces and threw it in the trash. The next day I was sent home with a note requesting a parent teacher conference.
At the conference, on her desk Ms. Creamer has taped together my torn up "Love letter", and she proceded to tell my mother all of my faults, which included the statement that I had "an overactive sense of fair play" (like that is a BAD thing?).
Mom was hot... it was very much like that scene in the movie Uncle Buck when John Candy flips the school teacher/admin a quarter and tells her to go downtown and buy a rat to gnaw the mole off her face.
Good day, madame.
Daughter,”How do you get boys?”
Mother,”You have to make them think they are smarter than you.”
Daughter,”How can you do that?”
Mother,”You have to be very smart.”
I suppose a backlash on behalf of boys should be forthcoming, but I sense it is delayed because the educationist powers that be continue to view girls as the ideologically favored class. For my part, I've begun to question the underlying model of universal same sex education. If one organizational mode has been demonstrated to favor boys, while another clearly favors girls, perhaps it's time to recognize that little boys and girls learn differently, and to find ways to recognize those differences in the classroom. One size fits all may not be the best model.
I am the father of two daughters. I am all for girl-friendly classrooms. But I want the boys to be better served as well, so that my girls have someone to marry down the road.
If sexism is bad, it’s bad. But, if this “study” is any indication, it’s perfectly fine to point out that the higher reaches of intelligence are overwhelmingly male.
Pointing this out doesn’t further the destruction of western society, though, so let’s all nod our heads sagely like good little girls and pretend to agree with the government educational establishment. They do only have our best interests at heart, you know.
Name five things, that you use on a daily basis, invented or discoved by a woman.
Well, you have to admit they are pretty clever.
They can say “we need to buy new towels” when there is nothing wrong with the ones you have, and you just open up the wallet.
How do they do that?
Tragic.
Smart girls tend to be more conformist and do what they are told. The smartest boys tend to be the exact opposite.
By high school, I knew most of the assignments were a waste of time and a CYA move. I simply refused to waste my time for a few more grade points. I liked to read an learn on my own and didn't care about grades. I was always one of the best students in the few courses where teachers/profs actually taught.
I also predicted that a degree from Haa’vad or Columbia would become worthless as so many people were getting in on daddy's money. I knew my job performance and character would be the only thing that mattered.
And I was right. In the real world, my grades did not matter one tiny bit. Nobody even looked at them.
