After gaining notoriety for going full-term with eight children, to add to the six children she already had, the unmarried Suleman is now almost completely broke, and ready to go on welfare, RadarOnline.com reports.

On a previous thread - the consensus was that the moronic impregnator should be responsible for the childrens’ living expenses.
Oxymom was his lab rat and he should fork up the funds to maintain the lives of her and those poor children.
There should be laws against these procedures - this debacle has never been about privacy - it’s about the common welfare of these poor test tube babies!!!!!!!!!!

She had her proverbial “fifteen minutes of fame” and now reality has hit. From what I’ve seen of her, she is certifiable “ditz.” Lets just hope, for her sake, that those who promoted her will look after her well-being. Very little chance of that, though. Liberals, and particularly those who exist at the lower levels, live only for the moment.
Put the children in foster care, and put this skank to work.
Amen to that. It is not right that the rest of us are obligated to pay for the costs of children that we did not go through the fun of making.

Best idea yet...actually she should give them up for adoption. With her mentality I can’t imagine how those children will turn out. She just produced 16 humans that are the responsibility of the government. The people who take in these foster kids get have to get paid.

I suppose I support the right of a person to have any many children as they wish, by whatever means available, so long as they have no recourse whatsoever to obtain support for those offspring through the confiscated earnings (taxes) of other people who had no say in the reproductive decision.
This is a HUGE pet-peeve of mine. I personally know a woman who is currently collecting "disability" from Social Security, and she has no physical disability whatsoever - she in fact DOES work - just enough to stay under the threshhold where she can still collect SSDI. In fact, she's actively trying to have another baby, in her 40s, for the sole reason of collecting more SSDI benefits for an additional dependent.
It makes my blood boil.
How so?

Social conservatives would never have provided the way for her to get her litter of 8, and if she can't feed them, they would have them adopted by people who can.
No babies killed, problem solved.

There was an obit going around in an email recently of a 21 year old "entrepeneuer" in New Orleans who was gunned down in a drive by shooting. The obit said he had 13 kids. His siblings had similar numbers of kids. Whoever put the email together took the time to figure out how much money this guy was "entitled" to with all those kids. The total was $156,000/year. Scale it up to 16 and you'll have your answer.

In a class with a woman who is a nurse in Florida (a distance learning class), has overhead the following conversation many times between welfare moms “Well, when I have this baby I will get a raise”.
