Yea! Go Reds!
Congrats, they earned it.
Maybe Josh Hamilton will get a shot to play against his former team.
Gibson, Drysdale, Sutton would have had you looking out your earhole the next time up...
My son and I turned on the game as Bruce was coming to the plate. I said, “wouldn’t it be something if Bruce hit a home run and won the game and the division”. Literally 10 seconds later, he did. Wow ! What a way to end it.
Mine was reversed. I watched the whole damn game and went downstairs before the 9th, grabbed a snack and came up and it was pandemonium at home plate. Damn!
So happy to hear it. I’m a fan from the Big Red Machine days. This is a fun to watch team. I think they can make it to the NLCS and we’ll see what happens versus the Phillies.
I don’t think he showboated, he ran around the bases pretty fast and was mobbed by his teammates at home plate.
Many congratulations from a Cubs fan. Thanks for keeping the Cardinals out of the postseason.
I grew up watching the Big Red Machine, Pete Rose, Joe Morgan, Johnny Bench, etc. and my Dad and my best friends were Reds or Cardinals fans so they are my 2 favorite teams and they have still never played each other in the postseason. The Cards won the Series in 2006 over Detroit and it’s been since 1990 for the Reds. Hopefully they can pull it off.
Congratulations from a Cardinals fan, Cincinnati - you deserve it!
