“Bush isn’t running for anything. Who cares?”

Exactly. OTOH, Obama’s failed presidency is revealed every day.

“Bush is doing this to hurt conservatives.”

How? By admitting he was a human being and that he overcame adversity?

We don't need this distraction days from the mid-term election!

Let's talk about Obamah and the Democrat failed policies!

No, let's talk about George Bush.

Geezzzzz

Everyone get a grip. The book has not been released and will not be released until after the election.

No wonder the Republicans have been in trouble...if some of the people on this site are indicative of the public in general...opinions are being formed without thinking and validating the issues.

Again...the book has not been released. Move along.

“Do you guys really think releasing exerpts from the Bush book (don’t go there) will hurt the GOP on Tuesday?”

It certainly wont help, it will rekindle the hatred and motivation of DemRATS to vote. It will reduce the enthusiasm of our side who will remember how bad the Repubs governed.

I miss W. I miss Reagen.

I miss when we had a President with integrity and humility in the presence of our military men and women.

Decision Points by George W. Bush
Publication Date: November 9, 2010

The above is posted on both the Crown Publishing site and Amazon.

The first copies will probably be in stores in major cities on Friday, 11/05/10, or after.

In the publishing industry, publication dates are sacrosanct. The release of excerpts and Mr. Bush’s appearances are normal when an important book is coming out.

Any book by a former president about his administration is important, especially when significant events happened in his era.

Bush never once stood up to the media. Not once. EVER.

Obama's answer to everything is: Blame Bush. Even though Bush hasn't been President for years.

Now days before the election Bush comes along and is releasing his book... is Bush really that freaking stupid or is he voting Democrat?

Why interject yourself right before an election? WHY?

Bush really is a moron. He never once defended his policies and now this.

“Bush needs to shut up and stop trying hurt conservatives.”

That whole family has been ‘voodoo conservative’ from the start and into 2012. Bush as VP was the single greatest mistake that Reagan made.

This will help motivate dispirited Democrats.

Methinks the lady doth protest too much.

“I don’t think this will have any effect.”

Probably not. But the effort was made.

Concur. Even banner headlines in the NY Times over the next three days aren't going to prevent the thrashing that's about to happen. It may be my imagination but I do sense a certain Bush fatigue even in the Dems. As a lot of us pointed out two years ago, you can elect "not-Bush" but "not-Bush" can't govern.
