Just so I can put it in perspective, what was the FIRST election in which you voted?

Historic yes but not as it seems. It will be the greatest election theft by the democrats since the beginning of the country. What they cant win they will steal. They did it before will do it again, only better.

I think this will be the the most historic in the history of the nation. They will be saying “This never happened before”.

104 seats.

Electing a fraudulent, non-American who lied to the entire country about his religion, and who got his capos to try to bury Joe the Plumber when he was on the verge of being exposed was pretty historic.

This will be just the first of several elections that will be required to undo the damage that el schmucko is going to continue to unleash on the world until he is squashed like the political bug he is.

I've been voting since 1968 and this is certainly the most important non-Presidential election I've ever voted in. I think 2008 was more important though - I voted against Obama and if more people had been in their right mind and voted likewise we would have been spared some of this nonsense.

I've been voting since 1968...

I couldn't vote in 1968 because I was only 18, then when I turned 21 in 1971, they dropped the voting age to 18!

The unspoken Obama mandate.

But, lest we get fooled again....

Here in the state of fruits & nuts, Kalifornia, I'll be with you voting for Fiorina and holding my nose and voting for Meg.

Gotta get Senator Madam out of office and keep Jerry Clown out.

I stand by the prediction I made two weeks ago: R + 132 in the House, R + 15 in the Senate.

I actually have money riding on this. My colleagues in the rail advocacy game (freight & passenger) all retired from that game with me when Obama was elected. One is a devout evangelical Republican. The other is a "Scoop Jackson" Democrat who has written books on the national parks and the railroads; Ken Burns featured him as one of the talking heads on his national park series on PBS. (He is slowly changing before my eyes into a Tea Party Republican.) We lunch monthly and made a bet on tomorrow's events. The Scoop Jackson Democrat took a less exuberant view of what is going to happen, and the Republican took an even less exuberant view. We made a bet to be collected at our next lunch after the election in the form of the winner getting a free lunch. The net effect is that I have around $50 on this because the place we go to for lunch is pretty classy.

We'll see if I'm out of my mind or not.

My first Presidential election was 1956..I voted for Ike.
I have voted already..couldn’t wait to vote !

I’m too old to expect miracles with a dem President and possibly dem Senate..I do expect the brakes to be applied to out of control spending.

I do expect moaning and groaning over the impossibility of reversing Obamacare immediately.

I think my dim representative, Chet Edwarrds, is going down..finally..THAT really excites me!
It looks to be a very big change in Congress.
The 94 Republican change was after 40 years of a Dim Congress..and it was breathtakingly wonderful for me.
A first in my voting lifetime.

The Bush tax cuts will expire before the new members are seated...lame ducks will decide IIRC...Bummer
