The same thing happened to me. I suggested to my wife that we try a muffin exchange with the couple down the street. Then she pulled out a gun and said no.

Use them as seedlings for the next crop of muffintops.PERFECT!!! I never thought of that!! How much watering do they need? Fertilizer?? What kind of critters eat the sprouts? When's the best time to plant? When are they ready for picking? Can one raise "hybrids" (you know...a peanutbutter/carmel muffin)? What kinds of garden pests must one control?
So many questions for a perfect idea!!
We need a gardening expert here! Maybe "Diana in Wisconsin" could help?
