Harlem's most famous tenant has renewed his lease at a savings to the U.S. taxpayer.
Former President Bill Clinton, who caught some by surprise when he chose the 14-story building at 55 W. 125th St. for his offices after leaving the White House, has signed up for another 10 years. The lease for the 8,715 square feet on the building's top floor was negotiated by the U.S. General Services Administration.

Then there are the rest of us, who recall that his first choice was an exorbitant suite of offices costing the taxpayers a large fortune, but whioch the negative publicity shamed him out of it.

Sure does. I’d bet the rent will be paid to one of 0bama’s buddies in Chicago.....starting in Feb., 2013.
Why do taxpayers fund this crap after they leave office?
Nobody ever mentions that his first choice was crazy expensive office space in Manhattan and their was such a public outrage and uproar that he shifted to Harlem to cover his tracks.
