The bear video is okay but while there check out some of the other videos. On the bear one I clicked previous and there is a native making music with bamboo sticks and rocks. Really interesting.
I just checked the previous and just saw the
"Hilarious Video of a Snoring Dog (Boxer)".
I saw no video of a native making music with bamboo sticks and rocks. Are you talking about a different site as the one that has the video of the black bear?

We saw four bear while deer hunting, but they were all eager to steer clear of us. One momma with two cubs sent her cubs up a tree, and ran up after them. ...I used to hike an unmarked trail in the Gila, in a canyon that was home to a huge black bear. One day I was sitting near a swimming hole, and noticed the bear walking up the trail on the other side of the stream. I figured he would smell me or see me and run, but he kept waddling along, starting across the stream. When he was about ten feet away I pumped the shotgun and shouted “Hey Bear.” It was amazing how fast that huge bear spun around to run back up the trail. I encountered that bear many times, and he always gave me plenty of room.

I am glad he did not have to shoot it, too. That was a smart bear to back off real fast like that.
... the moment the bear started climbing the ladder I would have made a rug out of him for my living room floor.
There's always room for all of G#d's creatures ... right next to the mashed potatoes.
Apparently, bear steaks are pretty tasty with enough Lee & Perrins Worcestershire sauce on them.

It’s funny you would say they remind you of cats and dogs. As I was watching the video, I thought the bear reminded me of my dog. He’s a Jack Russell and he’s curious. He would do the same thing, look around, see a ladder and start climbing it. I agree about the Grizzly, kill it and make a rug.

I'll bring a gun when I go to the deep woods thank you. Unlike people like you, I do not think wild animals are tame and harmless.
When the heck did I say they were harmless. Don't put words in my mouth. I carry a gun even if I am not in the woods. Part of being armed is not blazing away at everything that might eventually be a threat. A smallish black bear at the bottom of a tree is not a threat yet. When you have the high ground and a high powered firearm you can afford to let it get bored and leave.
So you still think that black bears will not attack humans?.
Show me where I said they wouldn't. Argue against things people actually say, not things you imagine. I would not go anywhere near a bear if I did not have a gun in hand. Heck I would stay well clear of a bear even then. That is not the same as blowing one away the instant you see it.
