The owl in this video has a set of eyes that will melt your heart, as it acts like a cat or dog when you scratch behind their ears. The type of owl is called a "Forest Eagle" owl, while the scientific name is "Bubo Nipalensis". The owner named the owl Kitty, and just like a cat, it really enjoys getting scratched on the back of the neck.

I found an owl in our front one day. It must have hit something or something ht it, because it couldn't fly. I had to rescue it because a bunch of black birds, robins, blue jays and even finches were attacking his eyes. He had no defense, because there were so many different birds attacking him. My wife and I took him to our Vet and they said his eyes were so messed up from being attacked by the other birds that the human society had to put him down.
At the time I learned that they had over a dozen 12 owls they were caring for and could not care for him. He was huge, and beautiful. I have a video someplace of him, I just cannot find out where I put it.

That is adorable. Thanks. We need something good and heartwarming in these days of political insanity.

What a neat looking Owl - almost cartoon-like.
Kitty is an apt name!

Mother Nature is sometimes cruel. How kind of you to rescue the owl. Loved the video, thanks.

Yes, the animal world does not give an inch, and they definitely profile to protect themselves and their colonies.

In the midst of all this madness, that video, and this response remind me of who really is Lord and Sovereign.

LOL, touche! Of course animals don’t worry about being politically correct. Their primal instinct is to survive. Hmmm, could there be a lesson here?
