But, my brother did take several semesters of German. He enjoyed "teaching" me. Or trying to....

I minored in it in college but that was a million years ago and unlike Spanish, i never have a chance to use it. I think there are Germans in the Heidelberg Pastry Shoppe, though.

Lets have some of THIS!

I am so In!

I had completely given up on chocolate for many years, but I'm happy to say, it no longer seems to trigger a migraine.

All those wasted years...

Just when you're wondering whether or not this nation is on the precipice of a Götterdämmerung, along comes a story like this one:

Dr. Goes Through Airport Security in Her Lingerie (wheelchair bound retired dental surgeon)

Milk and cookies for breakfast!

No, the twins had 6 Ritz crackers and a half of a pop tart each, plus the usual milk. No fruit Loops or Cheerios (yet.)

Well, at least that's what they were served.

What they ate was one and 1/2 half pop tart in one and all of the Ritz crackers in the other......... The remaining 1/2 pop tart became a bridge for the car one was driving across the table across the remaining Ritz pile.

Beautiful cookies. I have no comment about the Gotterdammerung brewing south of our border where drug cartels have taken up terrorist techniques to frighten both Mexican and American citizens. Our Congress seems oblivious to this danger. Stop it already!
