...or the 12 year old who jumped off the roof with an umbrella? (me)
Wow, really? I thought I was the only idiot to try that.
How did you fare?
I landed on a bale of hay because I jumped out the window in the barn dad used to pull the hay through to get it into the loft.
If anyone ever tells you that landing on hay is perfectly fine because of the softness. Well let me tell you, my butt still hurts from it.
Ok, truth is the hay really was soft, but the whooping I took for destroying my grandma's umbrella is what made my butt sting.
I just wish there were digital cameras in the 70's so my friends and I could have captured all the stupid things we did back then that sounded good at the time, but in hindsight we were really blessed by angels from God watching over us.
How we ever survived our childhood with out all the liberals to protect us from ourselves I'll never know.

Did they say that about the first guy who jumped out of a perfectly fine airplane with nothing but a nylon bed sheet? The first guys to do this used linen or silk sheets. Nylon hadn't been invented yet.
1785, believe it or not. Well, technically these guys were jumping out of balloons, not airplanes.
