Approximately 40 books dealing with LGBT issues were vandalized with what appeared to be urine in Lamont Library on November 24, according to a report filed Friday by the library security staff to the Harvard University Police Department.
HUPD spokesman Steven G. Catalano wrote in an e-mail that the vandalized books' subject matters included lesbian and gay issues and same-sex marriage. Due to the nature of books, HUPD is currently investigating the incident as a bias crime.

probably by a gay person who got turned on and couldn’t hold it in.
Damaged LGBT Books in Lamont Not Result of Hate Crime, Dean Says
“But upon an investigation by HUPD, it was revealed Monday morning that “our own library personnel” had accidentally spilled a bottle, containing what was reported to be urine, that had been found on the shelf, according to Hammonds. Harvard College Library plans to replace all 36 damaged books as soon as possible, she added.”
Isn’t that pretty much their definition of sex?
Likely some self-loathing bisexual conflicted in his sexual-identity. Among their many psychological issues, homosexuals are often obsessed with excretory functions.
Sounds like a real “pisser” of a crime.
Quick! Call the WAAAAMBULANCE!
The world just doesn’t understand these poor deviants, doesn’t understand the degenerate glory of the golden shower. /S
Bwahahahahahah ... I don’t care who ya are, that there was funny!
An open bottle of urine was "left" sitting on a shelf in the Pervert section. Right.
... of course, just celebrating the coming of Spring with a golden shower!!
.. likely inside job...

The more I read the less I understand.
Several states have started issuing a John Doe warrant based on DNA profiles, mostly to avoid statutes of limitation.
So the prosecutors could retrieve the DNA, do an STR sequence, and issue the warrant based on that. Then, at ANY LATER TIME when the DNA of the perp gets scanned for another reason, they can issue an indictment.
All sorts of mischief can come from this, like, what if the urine came from a urinal without the, um, donor’s knowledge?
Point I’m laboriously making is that I bet they investigate this like it was a murder, and take full forensic samples.
That isn’t vandalism -
That is artistic expression.
The pissers should get a federal arts grant.
Yano, I go to libraries a lot, and I don’t see a lot of bottles of urine.
Looks like a “hate crime” done by the “victim”, and now everyone is backpedaling when the story unraveled.
This isn’t news. If the homosexual community keeps pushing, then expect more instances of push back. This is actually very mild.
I inclined to agree that a homosexual did it to draw attention.
From the link:
“Faculty of Arts and Sciences spokesman Jeff Neal wrote in an e-mail that it remains unclear why a bottle of urine was stowed in the library, adding that the spill was reported by the library employeethe same person who caused the spill, according to his understandingand cleaned up the same day that it occurred.”
LOL!!! Nice job!
Say it isn’t so - not Harvard!!!!! They’re so sophisticated, so worldly, so broadminded, so....progressive......
