If I were in charge

Put me in charge ... Put me in charge of food stamps. I'd get rid of Lone Star cards; no cash for Ding Dongs or Ho Ho 's, just money for 50-pound bags of rice and beans, blocks of cheese and all the powdered milk you can haul away. If you want steak and frozen pizza, then get a job.

Put me in charge of Medicaid. The first thing I'd do is to get women Norplant birth control implants or tubal ligations. Then, we'll test recipients for drugs, alcohol, and nicotine and document all tattoos and piercings. If you want to reproduce or use drugs, alcohol, smoke or get tats and piercings, then get a job.

Put me in charge of government housing. Ever live in a military barracks? You will maintain our property in a clean and good state of repair. Your "home" will be subject to inspections anytime and possessions will be inventoried. If you want a plasma TV or Xbox 360, then get a job and your own place. In addition, you will either present a check stub from a job each week or you will report to a "government" job. It may be cleaning the roadways of trash, painting and repairing public housing, whatever we find for you. We will sell your 22 inch rims and low profile tires and your blasting stereo and speakers and put that money toward the "common good."

Before you write that I've violated someone's rights, realize that all of the above is voluntary. If you want our money, accept our rules.. Before you say that this would be "demeaning" and ruin their "self esteem," consider that it wasn't that long ago that taking someone else's money for doing absolutely nothing was demeaning and lowered self esteem. If we are expected to pay for other people's mistakes we should at least attempt to make them learn from their bad choices. The current system rewards them for continuing to make bad choices.

No, but you obviously don’t handle criticism well... you have a CHIP on your shoulder. And speaking of feces, like most people, I can tell when something stinks.

I can’t tell if you think these ideas are good for a chuckle or something to be taken seriously. Either way, they fail. I am way past laughing at our nation hurdling over a fiscal cliff while people cheat and leach off the system. So we share this sentiment I believe. But I just don’t find these things funny.

The alternative is to take them seriously. I can’t do that either. These suggestions would get nowhere and accomplish nothing. They look like something that took a few minutes of casual contemplation. But even so, if you want them taken seriously, they better stand up to equally casual scrutiny. They don’t.

One more thing. Anger and humor don’t go together very well. It takes rare talent to pull that off. This piece needs quite a bit of revision and rewriting if the aim is to follow the path of Ann Coulter. If so, you better get a thick skin. She is successful at that writing style, but couldn’t get past day one if she wore her feelings on her sleeve.

If at first you don’t succeed...

You: “I didn’t write it”

Then why did you get defensive about my first post? The first criticism was directed at the author, not you. Further criticism was directed at you only after you resorted to insults.

You: “get a life buckwheat...”

The Bible: “A fool loves not the one who reproves him.” — Proverbs 15:12

Looking over your profile and history, I see you identify yourself with conservative positions. I see from your screen name and comments you have served in the military and guarded our country back in the day. For that I thank you.

Now, as to the future of our republic, I’ll thank you to allow people with real ideas lead the way rather than stab them in the back while they try to do so. I’ll thank you for not posting “articles” (so-called) on a conservative forum and then lashing out at those who disagree because the articles are not advocating conservative solutions.

And I’ll thank you to not give the left ammunition by being a caricature of conservatism. When all you have to say is about “Negroes”, “buckwheat”, “fagots”, “butt boy” “slut” and the “half-white” president, it gives them an opportunity to change the subject from the real issues. Name calling works for the left, not the right. You’re being no different than leftists who call tea party supporters “tea baggers”.

I would have liked to have more children. I knew I couldn’t afford it. I resent having to pay for welfare queens to pop out a new baby from a different father every year.

Question...do your legs get tired or do you sit down to admire yourself while gazing in a mirror marveling at your self recognized brilliance and holier than thou attitude. As I said before: Get a life buckwheat..and go pick fly feces out of pepper out of someone else’s post of another’s writing...because I don’t have much patience for your kind.

“because I don’t have much patience for your kind.”

You don’t have much patience of any kind. Is that supposed to be some sort of virtue? You don’t know me. And for that it appears I am better off. You can dish it out, but you can’t take it; criticism that is. Many of your posts, not just to me, are very personal attacks on anyone you have a slight disagreement with. Can you point to one case where you ever admitted error or accepted correction? Is that what you think being a man is?

“holier than thou attitude.”

Holier than thou? I’m not the one calling total strangers, on a conservative forum, “butt boy”. Oh, yeah, I do agree that homosexuality is a damning sin, just like other types of fornication. So you condemn homosexuals, but do you keep God’s laws? How about bearing false witness against your neighbor?

Going around calling people homosexual is a pretty serious accusation, even more so when it is unsubstantiated. I have found people who do this usually are compensating for there own feelings of guilt, trying to convince themselves they are good because they can see there are worse people around them. But in the end, just because you don’t knock over convenience stores does not make you a good person.

I’m not the one who needs to “get a life”. I have no intention of leaving. I plan to continue the conservative fight. I would prefer not to have to look over my shoulder to see self-claimed conservatives shooting at my back. Is that too much to ask?

Are you a women...you act like one...always having to get the last word. So reply to this and then you get back to looking in the mirror and admiring your self professed intellect and continue to be absorbed in self praise and wisdom that only you admire. You are a pain in the azz... Bye Bye Cupcake!
