“Knowing where you stand” - that is key in Survivor.
If a person thinks they are # 6 in a 6 person alliance then it’s only smart to juggle with a few more tail end charlies to flip back and forth taking out the power players on both sides and improve your standing.
Dangerous game but worth it if it works. Lets see if the odd folks figure it out.
I kept hoping Rob would push the pink undie wacko into the volcano last night. The nut job needs to go before he goes postal over something like not hanging on his every word and honoring him simply because he's the oldest - make that the oldest red-headed step child. Egads, if that's what we have as super duper secret agent guys then we're doomed. That freakazoid is scary.
Speaking of Rob, that tossing the clue into the volcano was hilarious!
Glad to see Sarita gone and David staying. However, with the exception of booting Russell (dumb move), they're following the ol' boys' game of getting rid of the females. Julie better take a good long look around cause she's next. BTW, she's my boot for next week.
Ok, merge next week and my bet is Matt returns to the land of the living.

And booting Russel was totally the right move. The guy made it to the final twice. Only an idiot would keep him around.

In the post Steph interviews that was one point she made about her alliance with him. His social game sucks and he can’t get enough votes at final TC. The reason she was so made when he got voted out was because of numbers.
She wanted to go to the final TC with Russell.
No doubt! I guess I should have qualified my statement. OTHER THAN Steph and Krista, you would have to be.....
We already know from the previous preview clip that the winner of the Redemption Island challenge returns to game and that the teams merge.
One more thing...
Probst: Redemption Island starts again.
Players: Groan!
Awsome! That'll throw a big wrench in this game.

Oh, my dear Matt, off to Redemption Island again.
He seems to be doing this thing that some Christians do: thinking somehow that going against an old alliance is a sin. He forgets he is playing a game and thinks he is in real life. So, off he goes.
Rob, in blindsiding him, made a bad move, though.
Everyone now thinks Rob is a jerk.
And Rob’s strength is his social game. He is a very likeable capable guy. But his treatment of Matt made everyone dislike him. I think Rob just made a fatal error.
I almost kinda’ sorta’ agree with you. I think Matt was putting way too much thought into things - and then talking about what he was thinking to everybody under the sun.
Rob - not sure. It’s getting to the point in the game where the people on the short end of the stick can swing the game in a new direction.
If Phil, Andrea and Dave could just get together and realize their three votes could maybe swing back and forth getting them down to at least the final four. Swing to Zap, take out a number of O’s, then gather in the O survivors and take out the Z’s to the last player. Dangerous move but it could pay off.
That's why Rob is keeping Phillip. Taking Russell to the finals would have been a hoot. It's always clear who the winner and loser are. Never, ever throw a challenge until after the merge. Your tribe has to have the numbers going in. That was just a stupid move, played on emotion only, to boot Russell first thing. Sure, he's annoying but he'd have been a useful vote right about now.
Matt, dearie, you did it to yourself. Talk about a lamb at slaughter. This little niave lamb walked in and put his neck on the slab and went baaaaa, please send me baaaaaack to RI. Survivor is not for the niave and innocent. But, yeah, it may prove to be the undoing of Boston. He should have gone after Steve rather than his own teammate (who should have been granted immunity the first round but whatever). Again, it’s a numbers thing. Do NOT, never, ever throw a challenge and do NOT boot a tribemate at the first merge. A third NEVER DO is to give immunity to someone else. Ralph totally wasted his II.
Ha, the new tribal name is nothing but a Romber joke! That was too funny.
Oh, lawwwwwzy, that Phillip and his ramblings...... Hmmm, I just now noticed that at CBS, they have his occupational status as a federal agent with a question mark.

Rob is playing a great game and he has not told anyone he has an idol. Even better. If he can keep his people together and I think he can he can pick the others off one by one. His people will figure they can get rid of Rob after the other tribe is gone but they don’t know he has an idol. He is playing the smartest game right now.
Well...I would argue that Rob is playing the game that anybody with an ounce of common sense would play...it’s just that most of his tribe members are dummies. Of course, I think Rod is scum and would never give him credit of anything.
He’s growing on me.
I never saw the attraction for him so I wasn’t all giddy that he was coming back for the, what, third time. However, his little talking to the camera thing (per Thomas Magnum) has won me over. He’s the only player who has anything this season.
Just throwing this out for whatever it means. It’s a casting call for a Matt lookalike for three days at the finale.
Tonight is a double booting. Who’s going?
I have no idea this week so for grins and giggles Ralph, Steve, and/or Mike.
