I did it with my entire battalion once. Kinda stands out in a brigade formation. 8^) So I feel for the kid ... Fortune de guerre. LoL
Looks like a simple mistake to me. He was at the end of the line with his back to the others. I think he just missed or misunderstood the cue for the turn. I didn’t hear or see a command. Wonder if they had a point in the music/song they were supposed to turn on.
He’s the only one who couldn’t see any of the others, and the background sounds were significant. I give him a human pass.
I’d be more apt (though not likely) to find fault in how, after they turn, some of them start “squidging” their feet, perhaps in the knowledge that their brand new dress shoes hurt like heck, and they may be stuck like that for a while. :)
I think he missed the order to turn. It looked to me like the guy on the left gave the order and with the music he just may not have heard the command.

Sounds very plausible to me. That way someone is "regarding" the family/casket for the fullest extent possible - and even when he turns away it isn't just a businesslike quick turn.
It’s cool I made my fair share of mistakes when i was in i know i wasn’t the only one lol and i wasn’t the last God Bless them all It happens....
