Naw, they spend most of their time on Facebook..........
Just don’t ping them!
;<)
And if I send them friend requests.......? :)
The little rats won’t even friend me!
You are correct. When I take ours into a store the wife says I only do it because she is a “chick magnet”. That’s not the reason I take her in but the wife is right....
Yeah, but they LIKE me! :)
Where is the incredible Norwegian elkhound? I call prejudice against spitz breeds!
;-)
Boxer only in 7th place? Unghhh
After one year being owned by a Boxer (which we got at the Burbank Boxer Rescue) I now understand what “man’s best friend” really means.
Be grateful for the “lower ranking”.
That “list” just tells the puppy mills what breeds to start cranking out in overdrive this time around.
Coming in at #151, you’ll notice there *are* no “Ibizan Hound puppy mills”..and the breed club likes it that way.
I see Dobermanns moved up a point.
This does not make me happy at all.
More BYBs, greeders and milllers means more rescues.
Not good.
Trejo rules!
I have an old lab and am afraid that if she die’s before me, she will be my last dog, due to my age. Couldn’t start out with a young one again as I don’t think any of my kids would take her...2 have dogs of their own and 2 don’t particularly like dogs and one is not in any postition to take on a dog...sniff sniff... Hope my faithful companion lives a long life, but she is 11 already..
I totally agree about dachshunds. Once you have loved and lived with one of these little guys you will always have to have one in your life. Our vet had 2 who were sisters that lived for 22 years. He says no other dog even comes close to the dachshund. We have other breeds much larger but our dachshund is the alpha dog.
You could always adopt one who is up in years. There is always some sweet cat or dog who finds themselves without a home sometimes due to their owner dying. We adopted a persian cat through our vet because his owner died of breast cancer. He was 8 when we got him and he lived another 10 years with us.
I just hope my lab stays around for a few more years. And Yes adopting a senior dog is always a choice...
I hope she does too. Labs have such a sweet personality. We have a male black lab that hubby rescued from being dumped on the highway with a broken hip. Our vet is such a wonderful person he only charged us a fraction of the cost for the surgery and follow up care. This dog is so appreciative of us and his home and he shows us daily. Life is good with these sweet animals, I can’t imagine it without them.
You are right on labs having the sweetest personality’s. I have had many dogs, but none of them could be considered sweet in the same way pepper is...They were great dogs and if could bring them back from the dead I would. LOL Just not sweet in the same way the labs are..
So sorry you lost your baby.
Bullies just have the most wonderful expressions & personalities.
Oh no! 5 months old? What happened to your sweet baby? I’m so sorry for your loss.
Good lucking dogs. What’s with the 2nd picture? Looks like they’re lining up for lunch or something?
Ours is a 2x rescue, she has the markings and ears of a Corgi, but she’s leaner, and slightly taller.
We’re thinking Mini. Collie, but that’s just speculation.
Just a sweet tempered girl that is very sociable towards other dogs.
I need to get some pics of her onto my web photo page to show her off once in a while.
The only thing that explains this is he died due to the flea/tick shampoo I used to bath him with - which I used without reading the label, and then found in small print where it states do not use on dogs under 6 months of age.
