Magnificent. The eyes say “Papers Please”. Polite, but clearly understood it must be done.

Yes!! Have always had a poodle when I had a dog. This time I have a miniature tri-color poodle, who is the best I have ever been blessed with. I wish the AKC would recognize the “true” German poodle instead of the dogs no one has ever heard of.

My heeler came from a mexican migrant worker who was going to be evicted from his apartment unless he got rid of the dog. He showed up at my farm with a free heeler and I had over 200 ewes. She observed me for about a week and then knew what needed to be done. I never had to teach her anything. I suspect she worked cattle in mexico.
She even knows the phonetic spelling of some words. Stuff like food, cat, sheep, barn, she knows even if we only say the letters. Heelers study you 24/7. They never fail to anticipate your every next move.

He's pushing 14.
Had surgery for laryngeal paralysis yesterday morning.
So far, so good.

The heelers are so smart it’s scary. They are always one step ahead of you.
