Kyle has been playing golf since age 2 and he is a Lefty like Phil. The little boy is 8 years old but he is very good. Phil played with him and introduced him to others. Nice job as usual by Phil. There is a video with Kyle and Phil. Kyle's dad is active military.

I think this is the first time I’ve ever heard of eye cancer.
God bless this little man.

This brave little man’s story hit the media about 2 years ago. His dad was in the military and they lived near SC I think. He was transferred to S California. He recently had his own golf tourney and raise $60,000 for golf research.
He can shoot 80 from the front tees. Not sure if that is ladies red tees or further back white tees. I cannot do that.

Kids usually play from the ladies tees. Great story. Thanks for posting it. I’m a Phil fan.

There was a story here on FR about this kid a few years ago.
Kudos to him and his family for adapting and overcoming.
Prayers up for them.

A friend of mine lost his left eye to cancer a few years ago- he seems to be cancer free now. Bad deal. Especially for a child like this little guy.

Google “retinoblastoma”.
Thankfully rare, but sadly, when it does occur, it’s usually in young children.

Anither Phil Phan here.
I lost my wife (literally the girl-next-door) to breast cancer at 28. This story brought tears to my eyes - God Bless Kyle.

Wow, sad. I wonder now if there is any part of the body that is immune from cancer?
