I saw this movie tonight and it does the original justice. There is NO politics in this movie, there is a sex scene where we see Mini Aden's bare breast and bottom, language is what you would expect from a very violent movie.

If case you see the movie and wonder what Bishop is playing on the stereo, it is Franz Schubert's Piano Trio in E-Flat Major. That piece will be familiar to Barry Lyndon fans.

By any other title I might have liked this movie. But it shouldn’t be called The Mechanic. It’s a basic Statham action flick, and he’s even an identifiable good guy. Exactly NOT The Mechanic.
