A teacher who advises colleagues on how to avoid affairs with students was caught having sex with a teenager in the back of her car.
Courtney Bowles was found by a police officer naked lying on top of the boy, who was also completely naked, from her school in Colorado. A partly consumed bottle of vodka was also found in the car with the couple

Perhaps, but I can't imagine any husband responding to something like this with anything other that shock, bewilderment and a little pity.
I'm quite sure she's thoroughly messed up in the head; she's committing adultery, she's committing a serious adult/child boundary violation, she's risking her job and family ... none of these are the actions of a person with his (or her) head on straight.
If she were a man, everyone would rightly deride her for "thinking with the little head", and condemn her for a pervert. Being as she is a woman, some folks with problems of their own are trying to excuse her malfeasance. They're wrong: she's a pervert who's thinking with the female equivalent of the "little head".

Yeah, and it looks like it's open and the qualifications are pretty low. There's probably a retirement package, although CO teacher pay sucks. I hear the competition for the job opening will be stiff.
She should be under house arrest... at my house.
They weren't molesting their students and ruining their students' lives. Consider yourself fortunate that you weren't one of their victims.
At a guess, I'd venture that they're drawing a very good paycheck. Other than that....
They were around, that I know. Not from direct experience, but from knowing students who did get involved. It was just kept quieter, and the predators were more adept at targeting the few who were vulnerable. Today the predators have a wealth of vulnerable targets. There is less modesty and the sense of shame is perverted — people are ashamed of things like being “homophobic”, or not “tolerant”.

Having known, errr, several male students from the early to late 70's that received similar treatment from their female teachers, I can assure you this is nothing new. They smiled stupidly and counted themselves lucky. The only thing new is that when caught now it's an international phenomena, instead of being dealt with locally and quietly....
Having been victimized numerous times as a teenager, let me be the first to say that it wasn’t really all that bad. I don’t think being victimized by a hot teacher would have been much worse that being victimized by a hot teenage girl. Men and women are simply different in this regard.
I pray that you're not married. If you are, you owe your wife an apology for posting such a stupid comment here.
