We have a cat that likes to steal pens and binder clips off my wife’s desk. She’s also tried to snag my watch off the nightstand a few times.

My sisters friend “Stace” had a cat called Ollie.
[He was a ‘cow cat’ by coloration]
Ollie hated Santa Claus, he’d destroy any Santa effigy he would come across.
Ollie also had a thing for walking off with pens and pencils.
The going joke was that he had a secret stash pile somewhere behind the furniture.
He’d also torment the dog Snowball by grabbing the dogs tail fur and laying down.
Snowball would then stand up to run, and drag Ollie along for the ride.

It's like the Bud Light commercial with the falcon. Maybe Dusty can be taught to bring back beer.

I guess Dusty doesn’t even care that bra is too big.

To date, I'm missing 2 hearing aids, 3 Blue Tooth dongles, and about a gazillion pony-tail ties.
Catz are kleptos.

When my then-husband tilted back the couch so we could vacuum underneath, we found a pile of wine corks that our cat had fished out of the trash. We also had to be careful not to leave fresh broccoli on the counter.

All my cat ever brought me was dead squirrels and birds.

This one is cool and beautiful. I watched that video twice. I caught a good case of the giggles. Can’t wait to show it to my 4 year old in the morning.

Could it be that this Albert Einstein of catdom is merely doing what he perceives his den-mates do, bring stuff home to the den all the time? Whatever the excuse, I had a dog, Nero, a Schnoodle, who would raid the garages of the neighbor homes, bringing back things which had the scent of his children friends on them.

What kind of dog? We had a Corgi mix that looked very much like this dog.

This could very much be my Cleo if she were an outdoor kitty. She raids laundry baskets (dirty and clean) and drags out mostly socks to attack in the living room. It took me a little bit to figure out why I kept having to pick up so many socks all the time as I have never seen her in the act except for once. Thanks for the ping.

LOL! I liked some of the comments on the link:
Perfect cat for a lazy thief!
Why can’t the cat bring home jewelry?

You’re welcome.
My tomcat has a strange sock/foot fixation:
Loose socks? No problem!
Bare feet? Boooooring!
Socks on feet? BERSERKER! RAAAAAAAAH!
That boy ain’t right.

I had a friend who's little dog like to eat her pantyliner! Used ones from her wastebasket - yuk.
One night she had a party and the dog threw up one of them in the middle of her living room. I think she started disposing of them differently after that.
