HESPERIA, Calif. -- A California woman is under arrest after authorities say she duct-taped her 2-year-old son
San Bernardino County deputies say 19-year-old Danyella Higgins was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of cruelty to a child.
Deputies went to the home of the Hesperia woman after a photo was sent to her friend showing her 2-year-old son with duct tape around his hands, feet and mouth. The recipient called authorities.
The San Bernardino Sun says Higgins told authorities she was taping up a window and thought it would be funny to tape up her son.

Sent the picture to “a friend”. Not so much.
She needs to have her ****Y duct taped shut so it can’t accept any more donations.

I suspect it was the tape on the mouth that got her in hot water.
a taped mouth and a stuffy nose could lead to suffication.
(I new if I waited a few minutes the pic of the kid taped to the wall would appear)
Hesperia is Rio Linda South.
At least we are a conservative town....
Something tells me someone is getting “de-friended”. O NOES!
LOL That’s what I was going to post.
if THAT is the picture, I don’t get it.....they couldn’t take her child away for that could they?....the do far worse on America Home videos...
Oh, no! How dare they do that to a poor innocent duck!
More knee-jerk reaction. Don’t get me started today because we just had a death here over what should have been settled long ago. But no, the gossiping backstabbing community and camera hogging cops went into guilty until proven innocent mode and then the court dragged it’s feet with delay after delay for any sort of evidentuary hearing... until it was too much to handle. What a sad waste. I’m so very disgusted with all knee-jerkers today.
Yeah, although I seriously doubt the mother actually taped the mouth shut. It would be very easy to loosely place a bit on the child’s upper lip for just long enough to snap a picture.
Given the stupidity that is the state when it comes to removing children from their parents’ home, I’m skeptical.
The picture I posted is months old.
