Wow. Those are beautiful, especially serto.

At the Franiscan Holy Land shrine, in Washington, DC, there’s a rosary walk, where each prayer (65 in all) is written in a different language (and English), but I don’t recall any of those. Maybe Estrangela.

By the way, my computer doesn’t render the Dvehili script you posted. Any gifs or jpegs of it, that you know of?

Wouldn’t miss it. Also, I like to be able to agree with people once in a while. :^D

I'm sorry to hear that. You're missing a real treat. It looks like someone's laser jet printer dried up and started sputtering.

Any gifs or jpegs of it, that you know of?

Sorry. Do a web search for "Dhivehi" or "Thaana fonts" and download one to your computer.

The designers of most written alphabets, at least those that were intended to be rendered with pens or brushes, had an innate sense of style that was in turn driven by an intuitive idea of the requirements of the eye itself.

Your Hebrew example, and many of the others on this thread, look like they'd be just plain fun to write.

Your first example, the one that was designed for the chisel, not so much!
