The RSQ Foundation was launched in 2010 in response to a growing global threat from natural disasters and extremists, terrorists and criminals who target vulnerable U.S. citizens in foreign countries ranging from Mexico and the Middle East to Europe and Asia. We are based in the United States, but our reach and effective sphere of operations is worldwide.

Whether the increasing perils we face in this modern world are personal or public, local or regional, national or international, or if they are posed by governments, narco-terrorists or religious fanatics - indeed, whether these dangers are man-made or natural - the RSQ Foundations mission is to raise awareness of the risks, offer assistance wherever possible and fund real-world solutions.

In the time it takes you to read this, at least one U.S. citizen has likely been abducted. The U.S. Department of Justice estimates that more than 260,000 children per year are taken against their will within the U.S., and this number is growing annually. This statistic does not include unreported cases, adult abductions or U.S. citizens abducted in foreign countries, which could actually double the total number of annual abduction cases.

Many kidnap victims are tortured, sexually abused or conscripted into the secretive world of the international sex trade. While its easy to write off the dangers and assume such horrible things can only happen to others, unfortunately these crimes are all too common and victims come from every segment of our society .
