The LAPD and other law enforcement are converging at Charlie Sheen's house in a pre-planned raid ... which now appears to involve weapons.
Sources tell us the LAPD has been conducting an investigation into criminal activity -- possibly drugs or weapons. And someone who is at the house tells us cops may be attempting to put Charlie on an involuntary -- 5150 -- psychiatric hold.
UPDATE: Someone at the house tells us, one of the reasons the cops are there is because Charlie allegedly violated the temporary restraining order Brooke Mueller obtained ... which prohibits Charlie from possessing weapons.

Police are going to serve a warrant on a perp known to own/carry weapons. Extreme caution required.

They were probably looking for evidence of that powerful drug “charlie sheen”; it is reputed to be very potent and dangerous.
Inspector Clouseau could find enough evidence to lock up this clown.

People inside Charlie's house tell us cops are not trying to place Charlie on a 5150 psychiatric hold. Charlie and others in the house are at the dining room table eating hamburgers. It is unclear what the cops are doing. We are told the LAPD has been conducting several investigations involving Charlie, including the possible violation of the TRO. Story developing

You could look at your neighbor cross-eyed one day. They go down to the PD and take out a criminal order of protection against you and you are done. They don’t even have to go to court but you do. Scary stuff.

I know here in NY it reads right on the bottom of the Order of Protection that your permit to possess pistols is revoked immediately.You go down to the PD to answer the complaint and ultimately get a court date. The cops show up at your door and take all guns in your possession including your now illegal handguns. Absolutely no proof is needed at that time as far as the accusations in the complaint. That gets hashed out in court later.
Someone can make up a story take out an OOP and sink you. Guilty until proven innocent.

Yes they do you are ordered to turn them over to the police they will give a reciept and then turn it over to you when the RO is lifted.
The ONLY way that can happen, as I said before, is if the person permits the search, admits to possession OR the cops get a warrant.
A warrant to search your home for contraband, absent "immediate need" can only be obtained if there is a sworn affidavit from an eye witness.
I do not believe even records of your purchase of a firearm is probable cause for the warrant.
And OOP is not a search warrant.
