Take it up yourself...

I have. He's made his position clear and you are the one invading the thread. Not me.

Swordmaker,

Is there a reason you are bringing me into your arguments? I’ve avoided your propaganda threads. Please do not ping or include me again, ever.

The only reason is politeness... you are mentioned by name in this redux of the Jim Robinson's comments from threads past and when that happens it is polite to ping the Freeper mentioned. That's all. . . my apologies for having disturbed you.

So make your points without dredging up year old arguments. Again, leave me out of your propaganda threads.

These aren't year old "arguments"... They are quotations from Jim Robinson's Edicts about behavior in tech threads and you know it. THey just happened to have been addressed to you. I will not respond to you again so quit posting.

Macs use Display PDF natively and can create and edit PDFs easily from any application using the OS.

As the late Mr. Carson would say, "I did not know that."

I've only been a (now devoted) Mac user for about three and a half years and am simply used to using Acrobat Pro. I'll give it a try.

There is no substitute for the other Adobe applications that I use. I don't use Premiere - I use Final Cut Pro from Apple. I use both Apple's Motion and Adobe's After Effects because, frankly, they do slightly different things. But I'm stuck with Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Flash - plus a host of other non-Apple, non-Adobe (and sometimes, non-Mac, Bootcamped, applications).

Okay.

I can't find the application but I'll keep looking - I didn't even find cleanly looking on Safari.

Will Display PDF permit me to create PDFs with editable fields, including digital signature blocks and meet the requirements to authenticate digital signatures, as Adobe Acrobat does?

Do you really think I want to gamble that Adobe has its act together?

And just think, people running downloaded and cracked versions likely don't have this problem.

Swordmaker,

Why on earth are you inviting me to this thread? Are you once again trying to bait people in so you can spreadh propaganda and then get them banned?

Please do not invite me to any of your threads EVER. I will choose to post to what I want to post to as my time permits. I know you have a ping list and if I wanted on it I would have asked to be added.

I wish the admin moderators would take action against you for trying to drag others into the pit with you.

Thank you

Have a nice day.

Mere courtesy. Your name was referred to in the post. It is considered polite to ping the person whose name is referenced in a post. I will not do it again. My apologies for adhering to the requirements of netiquette.

Really? I may be blind but I do NOT see my name in the post. Please show me where my name is posted so I’ll know this isn’t another misdirection...I’ve been pretty busy lately so I may have missed my name being mentioned. But the only place I see it is when you ping me on a post that doesn’t mention my name.

thanks.

Sorry, For-Q... I think, that after I added your name to the list of people in the post that it was unnecessary that you be in it... and yours was the one that was listed as “name deleted” and I forgot to remove you from the list of pingees. My apologies.

I see the AM has removed post 16 and the original post that started the issue... which is fair. Sorry about the tempest

Yep. Last time he posted people who donated to FR and acted as if that gives him rights to say what he wants on FR.

I got dragged in to that discussion way late and JimRob took my comment out of context so it really ticked him off. He thought I was threatening him so he responded to me the way he did. Yep Swordmaker almost won that one by dragging me to his low level.

This time I remained above it and it looks like the mods pulled his nasty post as well.

Oh well...I’m still here enjoying FR as always. Hope Jim let’s me stay around too. Other than allowing the Mac propaganda I got to say I appear to agree with everything else Jim does on here. So that’s not too bad.
