“Hope and Change” seems to have missed some spots.

The NEW ballad of Jed Clampett
Come and listen to a story ‘bout a man named Jed
Poor oil entrepreneur barely kept his family fed
Then one day he was working for some food,
And up through the town come a bumbling clown
(Brown that is, take a toke, what a joke)

Well the first thing you know old Jed’s taxes are to much to bear,
Kin folk said Jed move away from there!
Said California is no place for you to be
So they loaded up the truck and they moved from Beverly
(go’n back to the Hills they are, fish’n holes, country and western stars)

Well now it’s time to say goodbye to Jed and all his kin
They would like to thank you folks for kindly dropping in
You’re all invited back again to their new locality
To have a heaping helping of their hospitality
(Redneck Hillbillies, is what the press call ‘em now,
Clingers of bibles and guns and to Obama no bow!
Nice folks Y’all come back now, ya hear?)

This is not really much of a surprise. My question is, what will it take to make the voters in “The Golden State” snap out of their daze and vote for fiscal responsibility?

I have lived in California all my life and I can guarantee we are conquered territory being systematically sacked, pillaged and looted. The conquest started in the 1960’s.

I imagine that the state of Ronald Reagan probably took a left turn harder than most in the 60s and never recovered. The 60s combined with massive immigration (changes in demographics) took their toll. Unfortunately, good people are affected by the stupidity too.

California is a basket case but the thing that really scares me, and I'm not being sarcastic, is that like locusts many are now coming to places like Texas (My home) and infecting this place with their retarded liberal and gay thinking. They see jobs, cheap homes, good schools......... but they never ask themselves why the place they came from is so screwed up. They are like the Europeans that come to the US because they can earn more and have greater liberties in their life but then stand out and argue why the US should adopts social health care, retirement, education systems etc.

Bump to show my wife later.

She thinks I’m just paranoid about moving back to California. However, one more record winter and we may be moving back, job or not.

You are not alone. Unfortunately most of the states in the so-called Sun Belt are being over-run.

I suspect the improvement in the unemployment numbers in California is due to so many people leaving. I also live in Texas and I don't want them, not even the conservative ones. Stay away!

And why would they want to come here, I mean in summer it’s like 120 degrees in the shade.

Woohooooooo! We’re #3. Woohooooo.

You see that light lavendarish county in NorCal just southeast of the I-5 shield. That’s me! Sutter County! Woohooooo!

I guess that is better than the deep purple one to the left of me, that is Colusa County. Looks like they are #1 with the one down near the Mexican border being #2.

Wooohooooo! We used to be #2 but now we dropped all the way to #3. Woohooooooo! For what it’s worth, we are always a top 5 unemployment county NATIONWIDE. Sure, Detroit has us beat but we are always hanging around the top.

Send your welfar dollars here. I can’t shop at Walmart or Foodmaxx without seeing everybody in line pay twice - food with the EBT card, booze, smokes and lotto tickets with the wad of cash.

California has experienced two destructive waves of immigrants colonizing the state. People mostly only see the latest wave of illegals, hipanics, boat people, Asians.

The first and most destructive wave of colonizing immigrants was from the northeast liberals. This trend continues to this day. Click on Los Angeles and San Francisco on the map at the link below and you will see that the influx to both cities is still greatly from the northeast. I can assure you, it is not the New England conservatives flocking to California.
