I remember as a kid growing up in NYC in the early 50s, it seemed like the World Serious was the Brooklyn Dodgers v. NY Yankees every year. My dad was a lifelong Yankees fan.
Brooklyn was then another world. Now it’s the ‘hip’ place for young folks to live. But they don’t got no Dodgers :(
Given recent event in LA, and in Brooklyn, maybe the team should move back. LA Dodgers never sounded quite right.

Honestly, in light of recent events it will be a very long time before I hope the Giants win anything.

Whoops. Meant to say Dodgers. I was thinking of the Giant person killed when I was typing.

oh, damn. Did he die? I heard he was in a coma and had brain damage, but where there’s life there’s hope. I hate to condemn a team for some of its ‘fans’ behavior. But I DO.

No, sorry, as far as I know he is not dead, just brain damaged. As is my typing today.

Thank goodness. I’ve seen absolute miracles with brain damaged patients tho to what degree this man suffered I really don’t know. Such a disgusting story. And still no arrests.

I know what you mean. As you can see I get so incensed over it that I can’t even think straight. There is just no excuse for doing something like that ever. I know they have a sketch out on the suspects, but I have to admit the odds of catching them are probably pretty slim.
