While cities across the country are cutting services, raising taxes and contemplating bankruptcy, something extraordinary is happening in a suburban community just north of Atlanta, Georgia.
Since incorporating in 2005, Sandy Springs has improved its services, invested tens of millions of dollars in infrastructure and kept taxes flat. And get this: Sandy Springs has no long-term liabilities.
This is the story of Sandy Springs, Georgiathe city that outsourced everything.
Approximately 8 minutes.
No full time employees, just contractors. Hey we’ve already outsourced the White House to a British-American, why not this?
Thanks for the post. Nice to see some rare sense still prevails.
Looks good.....have to get those books.
Thanks....
Watch again....they have full time employees....
Thanks Windflier.
Bump to the top
But I just want me a turtle in my yard.
I’ve known about Sandy Springs for a couple of years at least through a radio interview about it, and it’s not a surprise that it has gotten NO attention in the msm.
None that I know of: though it does seem like something that someone like John Stossel, for one, might bring to national attention. I will tab this for the link. Thanks.

I have a brother in Sandy Springs. He moved one of his Alergy/Asthma clinics from Atlanta into Sandy Springs. He never told me why but it might have had something to do with this story.
