Recently news has surfaced that claims there was a huge miscalculation in transferring the Mayan long count calendar over to our Gregorian calendar, with out boring you to death, it apears to have something to do with the movements of venus, it all sounds nice till they get to the bottom line.
No one knows what the date would be or if it has already come and gone, so if this is to be believed it literally means that the alignment has already taken place or may at anytime going forward, they claim the date of December 21 2012 is no longer valid.
Seems odd to me that we are just now saying this, as well as no one appears to have done the right calculation to tell what the date its, is this just more mis information to throw us off and keep us unprepared, who know for sure, the prudent thing to do is prepare right now for any event including natural disasters of monumental size.
Every thing in a survival kit including the information you gather before hand is not lost if nothing happens on that day, be rest assured there is some thing coming and remember the old proverb no man knows the day nor the hour except the father, but of the season that you know take time today to realize that the season is right, the sky is red and something is coming one day soon and get prepared to survive even if its just in case.
Why do people think they will survive the end of the world?
I had my money on “Zombie Apocalypse”!
Its OK we got a killer comet passing some 80 times further away than the moon that’s magically gonna kill us this fall.
“....they claim the date of December 21 2012 is no longer valid.”
.
Aw crap, going back on a diet again.
I thought some Christian group was saying Saturday, May 21, 2011 was the day the world ends. Are we still up for that?
T-minus 10 days and counting!
Maybe the world will end like this.

You’re just an anti-endoftheworlder. The survivors will all be given their own planet.
That sucks, I thought there were talking about Skynet’s Judgement Day.
That’s ok. Harold Camping says the end of the world is a week from Sat, 5/21/11.
This is sure to cause a huge rise in unemployment in the The World Is Going To End industry.
Oh shucks...
This simply will NOT do. I’ve already calculated and stocked the correct amount of toilet paper we’ll need to carry us through to the end of the world. I demand a re-calc.
“Why do people think they will survive the end of the world?”
The Mayan calendar doesn’t predict the ‘end of the world’, It’s just the beginning of a new age kind of like an Indian ‘Yuga’, a cycle.
People are making money off the ‘end of the world’ scenario and have been since I’ve been old enough to read (and that was a long time ago).
The movie was terrible too.
Future Washing Post headline:
“World to End Soon; Women and Minorities Hardest Hit”
There are two schools of nut jobs: the Mayan calender school, and the Christian rapture-end o’ the world school. The Mayans claim next year, the Christians sometime later this month.
Washing Post=Washington Post; on second thought, I kinda like Washing Post better.
