| Count Down 2012 End of the World

Recently news has surfaced that claims there was a huge miscalculation in transferring the Mayan long count calendar over to our Gregorian calendar, with out boring you to death, it apears to have something to do with the movements of venus, it all sounds nice till they get to the bottom line.
No one knows what the date would be or if it has already come and gone, so if this is to be believed it literally means that the alignment has already taken place or may at anytime going forward, they claim the date of December 21 2012 is no longer valid.
Seems odd to me that we are just now saying this, as well as no one appears to have done the right calculation to tell what the date its, is this just more mis information to throw us off and keep us unprepared, who know for sure, the prudent thing to do is prepare right now for any event including natural disasters of monumental size.
Every thing in a survival kit including the information you gather before hand is not lost if nothing happens on that day, be rest assured there is some thing coming and remember the old proverb no man knows the day nor the hour except the father, but of the season that you know take time today to realize that the season is right, the sky is red and something is coming one day soon and get prepared to survive even if its just in case.

"...take time today to realize that the season is right, the sky is red..."
The sky is not red. It's white, with feet and more feet of snow. We'll be snowed in here, in the middle of nowhere, for a day or two, but maybe it'll help the short-season potatoes here (Yukon Gold and Red Norland). ...forty pounds of seed potatoes with long eyes already! Ack! ...need to finish that experimental root cellar for this extreme climate this summer. I'll be busting rock all through the month of summer. ...summer, if you could call it that in never-summer land (many nights briefly below freezing and quite a few melting snows).

This is sure to cause a huge rise in unemployment in the The World Is Going To End industry."
Good. The debt regime commences with more haste, then. We look forward to the end of that and the current political, business and academic rule, although most will perceive it as being the end (default). ...and no large manufacturing base or valuable currency to support such big government. Globalism is dying.
Big corporates and government administrators are having enormous fields of panels mounted for their PV systems to get "off-grid." More about our rich, kooky, bipartisan, survivalist leaders:

I’m very interested in your sources as far as the “Christians”. Can you provide documentation? Because, you see I’m a “Christian” and as usual, I’ve been left out of the loop.

You said:
There are two schools of nut jobs: the Mayan calender school, and the Christian rapture-end o the world school. The Mayans claim next year, the Christians sometime later this month.I'm not interested in an external link. I'm interested in what you base that inflammatory statement on.

What inflammatory statement? I gave you a link to a story about the Evangelical Christian Rapture nut job person who started the end-of-the world thing that he says will happen this month. The Mayan calendar end of the world, that is supposed to happen next year, and its nut job followers has been around for ages.

By not citing your source in your original post, I assume you believe that Evangelical Christians are nut jobs. Why did you say that if you don't believe it? Really you should do some research and not paint such broad strokes when referring to evangelical believers as nutjobs. It came from you and you cleverly post a link to a source to cover yourself.

I believe the Mayans believed that this present sun (the fifth one according to them) was going to be the final one. And the end of the calendar wasn’t so much the end of the world as it was the end of the sun, with then what becomes of the newly darkened earth being anyone’s guess.
