Planned obsolesence by Verizon?
My husbands Verizon LG Touch of some kind died yesterday.
He, too, replaced it with an Iphone.
Nah, just pilot cyber attacks checking out the malware to be used against the Blackberry-In-Chief...
>>>Had to upgrade phones, go the iPhones.
Enjoy. And when iOS5 comes out in the fall, enjoy more :)
Maybe the charger is the problem?

I’ve heard that the Blackberry is still VERY popular for people who consider business use as very important.
When it comes to phones, I’ve seen the iPhone as a sports car and the Blackberry as a pickup truck. Each excels at what it’s made for. If my pickup truck broke, I might get a different brand of truck, but I wouldn’t replace it with a Porsche unless my needs changed.
Maybe you had a power spike in your house wiring while all 3 devices were plugged in?
Maybe they all received a software update that “broke” them? This would presumably affect many people.
I’m sure there are online forums for these phones and provider. You should check those for people who might have had the same problem.
Would you consider returning the iPhones if you solved this this mystery? If not, enjoy your new phones!
I did have that problem.
In my case, all I had to do was pop the battery out and pop it back in. For some reason, my phone went into some sort of cycle of not recognizing the battery.
Works fine now.
not really related — but, I had my Motorola Droid die on it’s “very last day of warranty”, I think these devices are indeed smart phones. Verizon gave me a replacement too.
Solar flare?

My daughter has been having minor issues with the Blackberry as well...any excuse for asking me for a new Iphone...
I had the same problem with my Blackberry. They sent me another one and it’s working so far. Plan to trade it in come fall for the OS5 iPhone
