MVM Technologies Inc. in San Clemente is moving to Washington D.C. where it will lease two buildings and add 270 jobs in the first year, said President and CEO Dan Loyer... Loyer said he tried to keep the company in California.
He said he talked to economic development officials in cities and counties around California and got no interest in helping MVM relocate to larger facilities. New Mexico, Arizona, Michigan, Ohio and West Virginia all showed interest, he said. But when we talked to the
deputy mayors office in Washington D.C., the response was incredible..

I am leaving, too. I am not a company but I am pretty sure California will miss my 6 figure income and almost zero infrastructure footprint.

As much as I fly, my carbon footprint is as not only that big, but big as the First Wookie’s butt!
But since I have a 10 year old car with 17K miles (that is 2 digits, not 3) my California carbon print is still small.
Just based on metrics, California will miss me. And I will miss the home of my birth as well, but I won’t stay where I am not wanted.
