LIttle sun looking symbol in the top right corner (gear most likely) is the options button.

I can not imagine ANYONE using Google.
I use Startpage.
They do not record your IP, as Google does.

>>Anyone know why?<<

I tried to use Google’s Advanced Search to see why it isn’t available, but it wasn’t available...

It’s there. Just click the gear cog on the upper right corner of the page and it give you another list of options.

I do not know if Bing records IP or not.
With Startpage, you CAN go into Google through a back door, and still be private.

Nope, haven't noticed at all. Of course, that's because I rarely use Google - Too many junk listings in the type of searches that I do.

My primary search engine at this time is www.duckduckgo.com and my secondary search engine is www.dogpile.com (which includes Google and several other engines but does its own filtering of results).

What’s the difference? Google Advanced Search is practically useless, anyway. I still remember the old Alta Vista, which let you do a full Boolean search, with nested parentheses and NEAR operators. As far as I know, there is no search engine today that lets you do that.

OK OK I only use it to check before I post an article, the adv search of FR. See http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2741910/posts for why I checked and laugh even harder.
