Geitner is/has been closely tied to Obama through family ties. Geitner’s daddy was involved with Obama’s mother in SE Asia. Geitner knows a lot about Obama that ‘birthers’ suspect. I think if Geitner leaves now he is in political quicksand.

I thought he said he couldn’t do/finish certain analysis reports (testifying in front of Congress) because he didn’t have a full staff.
Maybe now we know where all those ACORN ‘fincancial advisors’ went.
