A Mexican national was executed Thursday for the rape-slaying of a teenager after the U.S. Supreme Court turned down a White House-supported appeal to spare him in a death penalty case where Texas justice triumphed over international treaty concerns. Humberto Leal, 38, received lethal injection for the 1994 murder of Adria Sauceda. She was fatally bludgeoned with a piece of asphalt. Leal was pronounced dead at 6:21 p.m. EDT (2221 GMT).

The Obama administration, last week, asked the Supreme Court to prevent Texas from doing this but they didn’t!

“I recall a story about the Pharisees who brought a woman that was caught in the act of adultery to Jesus and asked Him if she should be stoned, Jesus replied, “If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her”

Remember the Pharisees had participated in her crime, but the woman came forward to Christ for deliverance. Had she not willingly come forward for deliverance and allowed Jesus to work with her, Jesus wouldn’t have intervened and she would’ve been subject to the stoning. Jesus exposed the Pharisees hypocricy and told the woman that he did not condemn her, and to sin no more. Deliverance is available to those who want it.

Why would Barry pick this fight? He looks like an idiot now. /as usual

Note To Obama - rent The Untouchables for the WH movie theater ...

They pull a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue. That's ... The Chicago Way!

Funny how “conservatives” are pro-life and pro-death penalty. While liberals are pro-choice and anti-death penalty. All of you are a bunch of hypocrites... either you are pro life or your are pro death.

Wel, I'm not all that religious but, just the same, I think abortion is wrong and the death penalty is fine.

I believe that the innocent deserve to live and guilty murderers deserve to die.

Liberals believe that guilty murderers should live and even innocent, viable-outside-the-womb humans should die.

My position is consistent: It all depends on guilt.

Your position is consistent: All life should be spared, regardless of guilt.

The liberal position is the one that is totally inconsistent: The innocent should die and the guilty should live.

Actually no one is “CELEBRATING” an execution.
I read the details of the killer's crime. I am celebrating his death. Celebrating.

It's a joyous day in our country when such a heinous scum no longer stains the land with his presence.

Read what he did, and then get back to me.

On the contrary, Christians should embrace the death penalty, since the bible proscribes it for murder, by stoning no less. As for embracing pro-life, this extends to innocent unborn children and pro-death penalty extends to murdering a**holes. Equating them to each other is simply stupid on your part and there is nothing hypocritical about it.

Liberals on the other hand want to kill innocent unborn children and let murdering a**holes walk free. There are the hypocrites and if you can't see the difference you are truly blind.

Adultery while a sin is not comparable to a vicious murder nor the calculated murder of a baby in the womb.

Lieing liberals like to equate two unrelated issues in order to confuse people into accepting the unacceptable;I'm not buying your BS today.

Abortion is a summary execution without a trial.

Capital punishment occurs with a trial and unanimous conviction by a jury of peers.

Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's = that filthy scum's life.

I think Jesus was simply exposing the hypocrisy nicely when he said it...

I think you have a really screwed up notion of the Bible.

Do you understand the difference between "innocent" and "guilty?" How about "due process of law?" nah, I knew you didn't. Fergit it.

Why do you think that Jesus would not want justice done to a bastard that stuck a stick up a child’s uterus as just one of the cruel things he did?

No where in the Bible does it say that we can’t protect ourselves and our children from predators like this sick and twisted man.

Still irritated it took them 17 years to execute him. That was longer then the little girl lived.

Excellente.

If mexicans are going to live for decades in America but somehow bitch and moan about having to have consular officials anytime they break the law, no way.

Besides Obama can’t tell Arizona they can’t ask about citizenship status with their police but require Texas to always inquire about hispanics’ citizenship EVERY time they are involved with the police.

Don’t work that way, Texas did the right thing. Wouldn’t have changed anything anyway.

Texas stood up and was counted. Now.....can we get the rest of the country to do the same. DC does not control the states. The states control DC and the people control the states. Some where I read that.
