So, did she ever apologize to the people of Alaska for “championing” and signing the law that resulted in thousands of hours and millions of dollars being wasted?

Instead of asking me a question about a point I wasn't addressing, why don't you simply give your opinion about a point you wish to make.

You might need to lay off the hard stuff.

Much of the law was very good. It had a feature that allowed complaints such that the complainers could generate headlines, but the governor was unable to respond in kind. It was a bug in the code introduced by the attorney who crafted it. It makes no sense to blame Palin for not being a good attorney, since she isn’t one.

You used "abdicate" in the comment you added to your article. I was responding to that comment. I'm sorry I didn't make that clear, I should have quoted the exact statement. That word does appear only once and I didn't think that my reference would be so confusing to you.

Allow me to quote from your article:

"Just as had every elected official in American history before her, Sarah left the Alaska governorship to pursue higher goals prior to the conclusion of her full-term."

Once again, I see that pesky all-inclusive word "every". In your second response to me, you said:

"Each and every "all" and "every" that I did use, I used with full knowledge and specific intent. They are intentional, and precise, not to mention correct."

Are you prepared to share your "full knowledge" of American History to back up that statement?

I doubt it.

Instead you have descended even further to childish name calling.

Very impressive. What will you do for an encore?

You're right about one thing, though. There are more fruitful ways to occupy myself that reading your writings. I certainly won't make that mistake again.

What ridiculous, tortured, inane pretzel-logic. You really are a badly deranged mental deficient.

Should Palin apologize for a Law intended to protect the public? No more than should the person who invented the handgun apologize for murderers. That some repugnant filth chooses to abuse and bastardize a great tool doesn't speak ill of the tool... only of the repugnant filth who abuse it.

Like you using FreeRepublic to urinate on what Jim Robinson calls "Palin Country." Jim needn't apologize to us for you. Your parents should. You sulfer-drenched brain-fart.

I’ve been in roadhouses where “You don’t mind if I call you Joe, do you?” with a smile such as you describe, is the first sign of a real donnybrook.

There’s been mention of one of the oil execs telling her “...you don’t know who you’re dealing with.”. Wonder what he’d have to say about that today.

Sarah has indeed got an eyeful of the political landscape, emasculated by their own corruption. She has seen how the trappings of the political machine have done nothing but march our society to the brink of collapse. That sterile machine only pays lip service to new innovation as a facade to enrich the politician. She has seen how campaign contributions come from those receiving favors from politicians who turn their campaign war chests into money making instruments for their own enrichment. Our tax dollars are used to buy votes and laundered to grow offshore bank accounts. It is this system that has grown so far out of control and without restraint that is threatens to collapse and end this nation. Big Government that has allowed to become a business ran by politicians to further their own wealth, is government out of the bounds of our Constitution. It is this system that threatens to swallow the circulation of money in the private sector. Once the private sector has no money to circulate, the beast of Big Government grinds to a halt like a parasite that has depleted its host. We cannot allow that kind of catastrophe to happen, for it will destroy millions of lives around the world. The Unites States affects lives all over this planet.

Those who threaten to break this system are patriots like Sarah Palin who are certain that the instrument of salvation is non other than the U.S. Constitution. It offers the only legal system of codes that cannot be undone, and once applied, will kill the beast of Big Government that our Founding Fathers masterminded to keep government the servant of the individual.

Your post is well written and perceptive in the purpose of Sarah Palin as an instrument of freedom for our nation and people everywhere.

Palin had an extraordinarily productive term as governor, even if it was a bit shortened.

Romney barely focused on his job for two years, did a bad job while at that, and then occupied the office while really running for president after that.

Go see The Undefeated, then report back to me.

I’m not much of a Romney fan but Palin quit. She is not a politician now she is a public advocate and a great one and she should/will stay that way.
