When I do a google search, I find something on the State of Alaska website called the "Alaska Executive Branch Ethics Act". It's dated 07/10/07.
Not sure what to make of that.
“In Alaska, by Law, the Governor is not represented by the State A. G., and must pay for their own defense. Now you know why... because it’s the Law.”
This is all we need to say to those who disparage her. Alaska’s the only state that doesn’t protect its governor from frivolous lawsuits. Palin was defending herself from 19 frivolous lawsuits on her own dime. It was taking over her life, her finances, and her governorship. She won all 19 cases, by the way. Every one of them was groundless and she was exonerated.
The spinners are desperate for something on Sarah Palin. Hard up, actually.
Good point!
That would be their last act in what had up until then been a peaceful conservative rebellion. I figure the streets would run red with what's left of the Left.
In fact, Sarah is surrounded by a phalanx of snake-eaters committed to her preservation. I pity the imbecile who makes a play for her. He'll probably be caught up short prior to mission success, and just never seen or heard from again.
Buh-bye.

Well, aren't you the observant one! Seriously.
I have a photo of her from right before the Biden Debate, where she's looking at him through her glasses, smiling with her teeth, asking if it's okay if she calls him "Joe."
The look terrifies me; like a lioness about to grab an ibis. It gives me goosebumps and makes the hair on my neck stand up. What a feral predator she is. Not the gal I want gunning for me, I'll tell you.
She would make such a phenomenal kick-ass president. Lord willing.

You have to be careful when using words like “all” and “every”. That sets a pretty high standard and I suspect you haven’t done the research to back up your assertion.
Generally, the word “abdicate” implies a formal and permanent relinquishment of one’s position or responsibilities, and you used it within the context of a discussion of Sarah Palin’s resignation. It’s not unreasonable to assume you used “abdicate” as a synonym for “quit”.
All I’m saying is that “abdicate” probably wasn’t the best choice of words in this case.
Thank you for clarifying your statement. The insult wasn’t necessary, however.
Did you ever quit a trial halfway through it?
Nowere in my article did I use the term "abdicate." Each and every "all" and "every" that I did use, I used with full knowledge and specific intent. They are intentional, and precise, not to mention correct.
You can find far more fruitful ways to waste your time than to try to pick apart my writings, especially given your own now repeatedly demonstrated inablity to comprehend what you've read.
And just for your pointless edification, it wasn't an "insult." It was a justified reprimand, which apparently you don't deal with very well.

Exactly, and at the time and still I called it a political masterstroke. Has she started a trend? Now Ron Paul admits tacitly that running for Prez is a full-time job and that it is impossible to simultaneously be a Rep, or a Gov, at the same time.
That was the law Palin signed that the left used to pick on her.
She was elected in the 2006 election.
From the East Wing of the White Hut, are you sure you can see the Potomac River? ... Are you sure you’re not related to Tina Fey?
No, he’s entitled to his opinion. Didn’t see any PDS. It’s every man’s God given right to be wrong ;)
However that “Holiest of Holies” crap pegged you pretty well.
In her resignation speech, Palin () mentions the lawsuits but doesn't give that as the reason for her resignation.
From the resignation speech of Sarah Palin ():
And so as I thought about this announcement that I wouldnt run for re-election and what it means for Alaska, I thought about how much fun some governors have as lame ducks travel around the state, to the Lower 48 (maybe), overseas on international trade as so many politicians do. And then I thought thats whats wrong many just accept that lame duck status, hit the road, draw the paycheck, and milk it. Im not putting Alaska through that I promised efficiencies and effectiveness! ? Thats not how I am wired. I am not wired to operate under the same old politics as usual. I promised that four years ago and I meant it.
You can read the full transcript here and watch the speech here: Part1 Part2
I don't know how you can claim lame duck status when you have 16 months left in your term.
A few months later with Bill O'Reilly, she again cited the "lame duck" status as her reason for quitting.
Exactly, for the most part, only the winners leave their current office. A very few people quit their current office to run for higher, but most losers stay with their current office. And that doesnt even apply to Sarah’s case because, she didnt quit to run in the election or for higher office. She quit later on for personal reasons. Its disingenuous to lump her in with people who quit their post in order to announce their run for higher office.
And so the “Head Hater” makes an appearance on yet another Palin thread.
>>Didnt see any PDS. Its every mans God given right to be wrong ;)<<
Yep, no reverse PDS.
>>However that Holiest of Holies crap pegged you pretty well.<<
One need only look at the responses to the post to come to a conclusion.
To be fair, she may have had more than just personal reasons for stepping aside to let someone else be the Governor ... how eefective as the leader of the state do you think she could be while hounded daily by endless baseless lawsuits which she had to answer every time one came up? Sarah Palin is the kind of character who puts those she serves ahead of her, and if she felt she could not be the effective governor Alaskans’ needed, she has the integrity to step aside regardless of the snapping dogs waiting to attack her without thought to what real character means.
