Casey Anthony, acquitted of charges that she murdered her daughter Caylee, filed an appeal today of her conviction that she lied to law enforcement officers.
The appeal came days before Anthony, 25, is scheduled to leave jail. She was sentenced to four years on four counts of lying to investigators about Caylee's death. Since she has already served three years and is credited for good behavior, she will be released from the Orange County jail on Sunday.
The jury that acquitted her of murder agreed that she broke the law when she told police she worked at Universal Studios, that she left her daughter with a babysitter named Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez, when she claimed that Caylee was missing, and when she claimed that Caylee was still alive and she had spoken to her on the phone July 15, 2008. None of those statements were true.

Well, given the admitted fact that our president of the United States lied about his mother being denied healthcare coverage for ovarian cancer because the evil insurance company refused her cancer coverage, Casey Anthony is supposed to be held to a higher standard involving life and death of loved ones?
Appeal? Nah, going nowhere......four misdemeanor charges....what judge will overturn this NOW? This is some kind of delay tactic on the lawsuits......she won’t be deposed now until October. Delay, subterfuge and lies.....but it ain’t over till the fat lady sings. The saga lives on.
Some people should know when to quit pushing their luck. OJ didn’t and look where he wound up. Bets on how long she’s going to last?
This is a true sociopath. Everyone is wrong but her.
If the charges are overturned, she can likely sue the Dep’t. of Corrections for false imprisonment. That must be the angle. Otherwise, what sense does it make?
Her lawyers want her mental state evaluated again? She is walking free, no one can make her do ANYTHING she doesn’t want......didn’t she get another attorney to do her appeal?
Not long really. She’s going to end up lynched or she’s going to end up back in jail. She is RIDICULOUSLY lucky with that acquittal and she is ridiculously lucky that she is going to walk with ‘time served.’
I doubt it....how can she sue, she was charged with MURDER....nothing wrong with keeping her locked up, perfectly legal. AND she was found guilty of lying. Remains to be seen if it can be overturned.
As OJ found out, another jury won’t fall for it.
Where is she getting all the money? Are the lawyers working pro bono?
I wish this piece of human garbage would ride off into the sunset.

The hallmark of a sociopath is no conscience. She just feels no guilt over anything she does. Life is all about her, her and more her. No one else counts. She has no empathy or love for anyone but herself. Life is only about Casey. She can feel jealous, anger and hate.....but love for another would put them before her and that ain’t gonna happen. She played at being mommy, but after a couple of years that got old. She is a master manipulator......she controls the situation any way she can. Lie, deceive, evade....whatever it takes. But not many folks are this exposed to the spotlight and keep it up. We shall see, we shall see. The world had her number now.
There are plenty of people waiting to get their hands on her. I would not be surporised to wake up one morning to hear that her body was found in a wet dump with duct tape over her face.
I do believe the good tax payers of FL, perhaps just the county in FL....but she has a public defender, she is penniless after all.
All I can say is that I hope the idiots are the jury that found her not guilty of murder never, ever get a good night sleep again.
Now you do know some would consider us a lynch mob, right?
