Oh, no, “Conor Friedersdorf” again! Somebody posted something of his about a week ago, but this piece is even
more pathetic. His writing is just as annoying as his name.
To his “credit” (I guess) he mentions, but only once, that this screening was at midnight. He doesn’t follow up on this fact, nor attempt to put it into perspective or explain it. He was provided his “hook” for the story, and he went with it.No one should be expected to show up at midnight for ANYTHING, unless you’re a Harry Potter drone, or willing to wait outdoors for the new release of the IPhone, or whatever new gizmo people camp out the night before to get. Once upon a time, the Atlantic, like Esquire and the New Yorker, were magazines worth reading.NOW, they publish tripe like this that substitutes for “journalism”: but is actually snide and snarky fodder for people like Jon Stewart and Bill Maher.
No doubt. Now with apologies to the late Mary McCarthy:

Thanks for posting his e-mail.

“I will vote for Sarah.....again.”
Are there any Palin volunteers at these shows, getting people to sign up to volunteer for Palin, or just to sign up on the mailing list. Especially in Iowa. If I’m a strong Palin supporter, I’m going to want to have people at the Ames movie theatre, or the Des Moines movie theatre, gathering this info, and talking to them about the Ames Straw Poll.

The article is pure disinformation.
Partisan jello.
This poster bought tickets in advance for the first showing at this very same theater. Asked for the first showing, which was according to the ticket window at 10:15 AM, not 12:01.
Plenty of people were there, and at the end there was a literal ovation.
Two showings at the Grapevine Mills theater in Texas were sold out. One show ended with standing ovation. Much reaction to Breitbart’s calling out the “eunochs” for not defending Sarah. Volunteers were working signing up people to help. Documentary extremely well done.
I would like to see some Sarah Palin action at the Ames Straw Poll. I’m not saying she should show up, but someone - maybe Campaign4Palin - should round up some troops and put in a respectable showing. Double digits?
I’d like to see that.
Campaign4Palin should be robopolling Ames area Republicans at least for voter ID, and then another series of calls getting the voters to the straw poll.
Any Palin fan with the motivation to help Palin can simply do this themself. $1000 can buy 500 voters ID’d. The phone numbers of 500 Sarah Palin supporters in the Ames area. And send those phone numbers to Campaign4Palin.
I can’t wait to see how it does compared to Moore’s flicks. Is this why she hasn’t declared yet? The movie that is.
I am in Orange County - what theater is it at?
“The author of this BS ‘hit’ piece needs some correspondence from those of us who know the truth...”
Sent him one....
I know a couple who live a mile from the 405 in West L.A. - they want this over so bad -— they’re already anticipating non-stop news helichopters for the entire weekend.
Gamechanger ping.
