The best gourmet chocolatier that I know of is in Paris.
The best packaged chocolate is Perugina from Perugia, Italy. I am still savoring my last bar that I purchased there in March.
See’s is awesome. My mouth watered when I saw the pic.
And did you know that chocolate covered nuts are the world’s most perfect food?
They have all 4 food groups: salt and sugar, grease and chemicals!
..but the past few years our local mall gets a See's kiosk just for the holidays.
You can get Sees via mail order at http://www.sees.com. I send them all over the country at Christmastime to my relatives.
...but watching my diet and indulging at Christmas is better for me :)--
We were traveling a bit a few years ago when I first saw a See's candy store in California.....then later in Colorado....I went every chance I could!
Now I'm content to wait for Christmas :)
For some reason, this thread reminds me of “Open Range” and that great scene in the store where Robert Duvall wants chocolate and cigars....
I’m wondering where the Trader Joe’s candy really came from. China?
I know some stores have tried to eliminate food products made in China. I think Walmart is one. Not sure about Trader Joes.
