Some would suggest its the wisest remark theyve ever heard a politician make.
I always found his speeches strangely carminative.
Some would argue that this sort of thing has been going on for a long time. Its certainly happened at least since the days of satirist Jonathan Swift. He wrote a famous riddle about the posterior, that included the choice lines, My words are few, but spoke with sense; And yet my speaking gives offence: Or, if to whisper I presume, The company will fly the room.

From Family Guy:
Samuel: I understand you make Star Wars figurines. (The Warden picks up a General Grievous figurine) Aw, Grievous! Wicked! Well, anyway, I'm a pretty corrupt guy, so I figured I could sell your figurines and pocket the cash. What do you say?
Andy: I don't know...
Samuel: Oh, come on. I'll even cripple that guy who rapes you in the shower.
Andy: But I like that guy.
Samuel: Too late.
(Cut to Bogs Diamond being beat up by guards, crippling his legs.)
Bogs: Ah! My legs!
(Cut to Bogs being taken away by ambulance)
Red: (narrating) Two things never happened again after that. Bogs never walked again and Andy's fart never made a sound again.
(Cut to Andy farting in his cell only to hear soft wind)

It’s an interesting problem in applied physics.
Mass, compliance, resonant cavities, nonlinear strain vs. stress.
Not amenable to closed form solutions except for the crudest simplifications, its analysis requires 3-D finite element analysis in compressible and semi-compressible nonlinear domains.

Let’s not forget Boyle’s law (P1V1 = P2V2) in all this. As gas transfers from one environment to another through a “less restrictive opening” then the pressure and volume will approach equality in both environments.
