Rep. James Clymer (oops, I meant Clyburn) will face no electoral consequences whatsoever for taking this stand. His constituents whole-heartedly support bankrupting the country if that is what it takes to keep the Gravy Train on the rails.

This is the problem that happens when you elevate one Congresscritter over the others by giving him more power. The idiot voters of his district wind up with a disproportionatly large voice. If his district is populated by morons, morons wind up running the show. (Ditto with the case of the French-looking Senator John F’n. Kerry, of course.)

You have to create wealth before you can even think of “distributing” it.

“I Will Use Seat on (debt) Super Committee to Close Wealth Gap”

####

Bluntly, an openly racialist statement.

Aren’t you ashamed Clyburn, that decades of “Affirmative Action” weren’t enough?

You can't cure stupid. However, you CAN cull stupid. Reid and his gang make noises about equality, but all they want is a good communist state, with them as the heads of the Inner Party.

Then they can wallow in their entitlements at the State owned dachas, while a centrally planned economy and state owned production are busy trying to clone ponies with cows, so they can have unicorns and rainbows.

And everyone else starves, and sees lots of billboards with the Obama promise of a Great Leap Forward...

PC and entitlements are what has fostered the “they owe me” attitudes of today’s youth which has also produced these flash-mobs we are seeing.

Alot of kids just aren’t “raised right” anymore.

The predictable outcome of the pubbies caving on this whole debt deal. Should NEVER have raised the debt cap.

Damnable career politicians...from ANY party!

No surprise here.

The democrats have 6 hardcore socialists.

They need only one RINO Republican to vote with them for new taxes and phony spending cuts.

The Republican traitor will claim he had to do it or else triggers would go off and kill the Defense budget.

They will still cut the Defense budget.

There will be no real cuts, only ones that go into effect in 2099.

Taxes will go up on everyone, except the 51% who pay no taxes and vote democrat.

The other 423 congressmorons will sit on their a$$e$ and then claim credit for solving the debt crisis.

The United Nations will leave the USA because their delegates won’t want to live in a Third World country.

whatta scam!

obama got what he wanted—the debate moved after the election.

boehner got what he wanted—the tea party off his back.

as paul ryan said, there will be no reductions.

The Obamunists don’t want a deal.

One little-noticed detail of the set-up is that the automatic cuts if the committee doesn’t agree don’t take effect until the fiscal year beginning Oct 2012.

So the committee fails in December, but the automatic cuts don’t take effect until about the time of the election.

Obama runs on the Republicans gutting government services and defense and throwing grandma off a cliff to hit about election time and refusing to raise taxes on the rich.

He’s taken the mountain of debt off the table as an issue, since the debt deal gets him past the election as far as that is concerned.

Actually, the most recent 2 projections show the Kenyan hitting the debt ceiling **again** in either Sep or Oct next year.

And THAT would be fascinating. Likely, too, since he's already blown through $300+ billion since that odious debt ceiling "deal" was passed. In 3 weeks' time; you do the math.

Now I realize they didn't cave, they are just in on the scam right along with the Rats, all that political posturing you saw was just Kabuki Theater.

>And what’s with this idea of “closing the wealth gap”???
That sounds like socialism to me.<

Actually, it sounds more like flat out communism. I hold John Boehner and Mitch McConnell responsible. The Dems are simply being true to themselves. They cain’t hep it.

I will use my seat on the committee to close the wealth gap.

Redistributionism is an assault on the natural right of private property. Egalitarianism is an assault on the freedom of economic inequality. Both are necessary institutions of capitalism and to attack them is un-American.

He certainly cannot make the poor rich so he must be looking to make the rich poor. Wealth redistribution is not in the Constitution. That is Communism. When are we going to say enough of this lousy government???
