Fl just wasn’t the place to go this recruiting year. Muschamp is going to do well and Charlie Weis will be a great asset. This is a transitional season with Brantley having to learn alot.. Nothing bad against the program. God knows how many years we were mediocre while you were winning championships.

I’m already figuring we’ll lose at least four games this season....it’s like Urban’s first year...the goal is to reclaim the Swamp and set the foundation. They are already projecting UF to have one of the top, if not the top recruiting classes for next season. Much the same as Jimbo’s first year in Tally.

That is pure speculation and there is no proof of Auburn doing anything to get Cam. Coach Chizek didn’t even want him until a couple of Asst.Coaches talked him into checking him out. The coach at Mississppi knew Cam from having coached at Florida and wanted him. We haven’t been on probation since the early 90’s. Alabama is on probation right now. We have one of the best compliance departments in the country. The only connection to Cam’s dad is Mississippi State boosters.

You are going to be so disappointed. That just didn’t happen and there is no investigation. Don’t know where you get your information.

Oh, don’t get me started. That Ohio State coach and those players should not have been allowed to play the Sugar Bowl last January.

I was there and I know my Hogs blew it (first half was awful) but rules are rules. No reason the outcome might have changed.

I was at the 1978 Orange Bowl (in the college band) when Ark played Okla. Lou Holtz suspended three key players because of an incident in the dorm with a woman.

We beat their butts 31-6! Dan Hampton was a monster (partied with him on a few occasions).

Aw, the good ol’ days!

I appreciate the respect, and return it to UF. Now that Spurrier is gone, I just can't find the hate for them I used to have...It helps that I went to church with Rex Grossman and that Tebow is such a high-quality person. Also, most of the Gators in the NFL are there to play football, not cause trouble (and Percy Harvin is still the MAN!)

I never could figure out why those guys wanted to play for Spurrier. Urban Meyer? Sure, that was easy! But Spurrier was such a...jerk.

From what I’ve heard and read the BCS/Fiesta Bowl people played a big role in making sure they played in that game.

From your second article. "Late in the season, the NCAA ruled that Newton’s father, Cecil, had tried to get Mississippi State to pay $180,000 for his son to play for the Bulldogs. Cam Newton ended up choosing Auburn instead of Mississippi State when he was being recruited out of junior college.

The NCAA also ruled there was no evidence Cam Newton or Auburn knew about Cecil Newton’s pay-for-play scheme, so neither was punished.

As far as Sheridan, he has changed his story so many times he is not to be believed. He and Finebaum are just trying to get publicity for their own sakes. Again, you are going to be so disappointed.

Sweetheart, I don’t care about auburn, I just don’t like cheaters at any school. You have much more to lose than I do regarding Auburn
